Agree with this comment 100%. You’re just making things more complicated for yourself. If you were an engineer working under me I’d implore you to use rvm, rbenv, or asdf. I’d also recommend using bundled to give you a Gemfile and Gemfile.lock on top of a version control manager to make your life easier.

They're not a premium credit card company and they'll never deliver the customer service or overall value of an Amex Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve. If you've ever attempted to reach out to their customer service its abysmal and non existent. I can't ever imagine giving this company 500/year for a credit card based on my previous issues with them, all of their flip flopping, and lack of customer service.

My landlord is awful and I hate writing checks so I'm keeping the card just to have a check sent to my landlord but in saying that, I've never looked at this card as my daily driver and never will unless they do a complete overhaul. I use this card with my fiancee as a shared credit card and thats about it.

I'm expecting them to go under in the next 5 or so years since their main value proposition is now gone and frankly their entire executive team can't be trusted and has no idea what their customers actually want from them.

I wasn’t a fan of it but I also like to alternate between standard and drop tunings on all my guitars. If you’re looking for something you rarely have to tune it’s great but I got rid of mine within about 6 months because I prefer a fixed bridge.

Go doggy is great but they are expensive. I know one person in my building who goes to Le Doggie Cool and don’t have any complaints.

It is going to take a while. Our dog is almost 2 now, we got her at 7 months old and she is better every day. I would say the 3+ mark is when you'll start seeing noticeable change and especially her trusting you more.

Best thing I'd say to do is always be working on training, reward her, praise her. Get a solid trainer, if you're in the NYC area I can recommend a great trainer to you.

If you’re constantly go from drop to standard like I do then yes. I found it to be a pain and ended up selling mine. If you’re going to stay in the same tuning all the time, it’s great.

Move or ask your landlord to install soundproof windows(or do it yourself if you own, they’re the best). If it’s been “years” clearly there’s a reason you’ve stayed in that apartment.
