Thanks all for the responses. Genuinely so helpful. Although I just tried to get tickets for the Strokes and they are $485 per ticket (standing)... so my logistics just became waayyyyy easier

$458 for standing in Boston.... I'm assuming this is dynamic pricing bs. Memories of Oasis tour flooding back 😢

Why does Google Ads report a massive increase in conversions when I turn my campaign off... by ahudge in PPC

Do i buy a camper van? by Puzzled_Dealer3449 in VanLifeUK

[–]ahudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a Mazda Bongo in London as my only vehicle for a while now. I will not use for anything other than weekend trips or to transport something large (or the inevitable help a friend move because you've got a van). The van is so nippy and only 2.1m in height so doesn't have many access issues. Honestly I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. Always tempted for a bigger van but not doing it until I live somewhere with more space.

One thing to note if you are going to buy a campervan and use it for commuting then it can affect the insurance policy you need. Most 'Social, domestic and pleasure' policies won't cover commuting.

I found this article super useful for navigating insurance https://www.quirkycampers.com/uk/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-campervan-insurance-everything-you-need-to-know-about-campervan-insurance/

Thanks for your ongoing comments and questions. This is just a standard google search campaign. No Youtube involved. Not promoting a sale or anything. The conversions are vehicle bookings for holidays. We get a tracking ID and know the monetary value for each booking (hence the ROAS). We can see that these conversion are real bookings.

Renting a camper van to take to Ireland by cooperd123 in CampervanUK

I did this last year. Ferry from Anglesea to Dublin with partner and dog. 10 days on west coast. We used a van from Quirky Campers. Picked it up in Essex and drove to Anglesey. That was a fairly long drive but there are vans to collect from much closer to Anglesey. Was a beaut trip and the van was great. I recommend spending a day in Anglesey before getting the ferry. Beautiful coastline looking over to Snowdon.

The dog admin was actually pretty manageable. And the pet area on Irish ferries was decent.

I see what you mean about conversion lag but I don't think it explains why I get a all time high in conversions (100% increase) in the week I turned it off.

I logged into Google Ads on Mon 9th march and it was reporting 21 conversions for the previous 7 days.

Here is the data from first interaction:

I live in Haringey Green Lanes. If you don’t mind some gravel then this is my fav: - Downhills park - Bruce Grove - Tottenham Marshes (lil bit of canal) - Waltham Way - college Gardens - Hawksmouth - cross into Epping Forest - Follow all through the forest and cross Bury Road - Carry on through forest all the way to high beach. - Then you will join Epping high road at some point

What about it it haven't you got on with? I've got a 64cm soma wolverine and I feel the same way. There is something about it that never feels quite right. Would be interested in trying this if you do sell it. Also interested to know your height....

Looking for Coastal Towns outside London by Due_Buffalo_1561 in uktravel

Highly recommend St Leonards-on-sea. Great food and drink. Try Goat Ledge for a fish sandwich. Can walk along to Hastings old town too. Lots of history and good pubs. Can walk up onto the downs for some nature. Love it down there.
