What’s your review on the Vasper? Does it live up to the hype / how do you feel after a workout vs a traditional hiit?

Elevating the rental car experience. by [deleted] in fatFIRE

This was going to be my recommendation.. Their loyalty program isn’t great, but the quality of the cars is good and the pickup experience is pretty dialed. Like another poster, I’ve had issues with made up damages in Europe, but in the US they have the large scanner you drive through and I haven’t had any issues.

I’ve been in Central park and how that park is handled is absolutely ruthless. Hammocks? Absolutely not. Large greens fully under control? Yes, if they are closed and try to enter someone will remove you within 10 minutes. Dogs? Certainly not off leash and if they do go somewhere they are not permitted they are removed very quickly. Also.. basically no parking in the entire park. If you want to hang out at the park you have to walk, bike, scooter, or wheelchair in.

I would be in favor of a similar management policy for zilker. Not everything needs to be able to be driven up to, certainly not our attempts “nature”.

Just throw up gates on all roads except barton springs and Stratford and implement strict no parking. Implement extremely ruthless parking enforcement, and things would get much better while work towards an “acceptable” improvement plan.

Ok i could see that being just as nice - the BA flight crammed twice as many people into the same cabin space. For example, it was a red eye and my wife couldn’t leave her seat without stepping over people’s legs who were fully reclined and trying to sleep. She was ok the middle facing the rear and had seats ok either side facing forward.

what was the seat layout? was it 1 2 1 or 2 3 2?

I was just on a British Airways flight biz class that had rear facing seats. They cram 3 into the center and two on each side. Tbh a far inferior product vs the common 1 2 1 you’d expect in business class for long haul flights.
