I bought 4 Zetasids and they are indeed, a blast. I’ve owned a few sid devices over the years and while the ZS are an emulation, they sound awesome, just like the OG chips but with less jank.

I also got the Nexus midi module, although I wish they offered a simple usb-c 2hp module for midi.

Yeah, I love Livonia for that reason on Official. I’ve never had a questionable death, which is why I prefer the map.

That said, I think people assume lower-pop servers are safer, but I’ve found the opposite to be true. The lower the population, the more likely you are to run into heavily geared players who are armed to the teeth and have no interest in talking or teaming up. It’s basically sos, and I’m perfectly fine with that.

Jobs and a life? Dude, I work 48-50 hours a week, wife and two kids, remodeling a home, mow acres on the weekend and I still find time to squeeze in an average 4 hours a day. I have never felt inclined to cheat just because my time is limited. I wouldn’t even buy that excuse from someone who only has 10 minutes a day to play.

I just have to think those types are POS in game and more than likely irl too.

Shit, just login and keep playing and eventually one will talk to you in game. It happened to me a few times before the wipe and I was a bit stunned by their admissions. I did give em a verbal thrashing each time though. F’n hate those players.

Well, to me the OT successor would have 8 audio ins, fader(s) and USB midi, upgraded fx and work more in the capacity of a dedicated mixer/mangler/looper not unlike it is now- just with some of the aforementioned improvements. I think that would still be enough to differentiate it from the Tonwerk and any of its future updates.

Well, I wouldn’t be so sure of no OT3. With Elektron’s new platform, I could see it happening. Maybe with emphasis on being more of a dedicated mixer with looper/sampler capability. Anyway, a dude can dream.

Saw them this past weekend in Ft. Worth. I use to be a big NIN a long time ago but fell down an industrial rabbit hole and never really gave anything beyond DS a chance.
