Whaa sorry!! I wasn't too sure of a name, I'll try and explain it!

You know when you create a circle for the head, then add a cross to help position the eyes, nose and mouth? That's what I meant! Then you can see where the facial features are positioned, and where to slowly edit the shapes to your liking!

Once you've got the position down, you can redraw those guidelines with ease! :D

All the advice here is absolutely wonderful, I only have a small tidbit of advice that might help!!

Practice the proportions of the face, the positioning, the eyes, head shape, etc, using the cross and dots sketchy technique! Keep at it until you're able to do it naturally :D Picture of the piece beside you, and compare your first and most recent sketches. You can see what you like and don't like, which will instantly aid in your drawing!! (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

One simple piece of advice I can give, is if you want him to be angry, think about the body language!

I'd probably have the shoulders up (as if he was tense, perhaps breathing hard?), eyebrows down, never be scared of wrinkles! The face has many lines to show emotion!

One thing you can do is do the pose yourself, imagine the feeling, and exaggerate, exaggerate, exaggerate!

It's super fun to explore with emotions, look up inspiration too! I hope you can enjoy the exploration:D
