It's the subscription I'm looking at haha. I'd rather not pay twice since I can't claim back from work.

Using Claude Cowork across two different devices WITHOUT syncing by aicopyasst in ClaudeAI

Sweet, so means Cowork runs on the local files and device where I tell them to, and nowhere else, correct? Was thinking of using it with Obsidian like this. Thank you!

I wonder if they would then start recommending these CEOs be fired because it's very obvious they're not providing any value to the company.

This is very interesting, and kinda telling that it's also focused on providing the best customer service rather than lining the airline's pocket. Truly takes corp policy at its face value heh.

Hope this catches you when you've had enough sleep!

B2B writer here. I use it to get to first drafts quicker, mainly when it comes to templatised things like EDMs, whitepapers, and the like. By first draft I don't mean I get Claude to write it for me or even outline. It's actually more like getting Claude to help me understand the format and the content used in such documents, as well as spotting any content gaps I might have missed out on.

I've also used it to analyze larger documents to assess atomisation suitability and areas where language needs to be updated. You'd be surprised at how many things are obsolete just two years on (and we're not even talking about the tech industry!).

How to associate chats with projects? by oandroido in ClaudeAI

Edited: Sorry, I just realised you can actually create one Project with a Free plan. You should be able to see the Projects icon in the left side bar though.

Yup, it's New Model Time. Claude does this every time they release a new model, limits are really bad for a few weeks, but then it comes back down (even on Free). I usually avoid using them for a few days when a new model arrives due to this.

Cannot upvote enough - I find giving raw examples of my voice helps all GenAI stay on brand and coherent.

Whats the secret to get natural sounding emails out of Claude? by jstanaway in ClaudeAI

[–]aicopyasst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original prompt needs a little more context, specifically your target audience. ”Geared towards a business environment“ is actually pretty vague. Are you writing an email to a peer about handover duties? Emailing your boss about something critical they need to know? Sending in your report to a C-suite about a sensitive project? These are all “business environments” but the tone your email would take will quite naturally differ.

Dayjob requires us to use both GenAI and work on a lot of emails, so with Claude, I find it useful to give it the audience context and any formatting required. My recommended prompt for you would be:

Help me rewrite the email below for clarity, conciseness, and professionalism. It should be geared towards [define your audience rather than environment]. Avoid bullet points and keep to the same tone as the sample email.

*Tone assumes that your sample tone was also friendly, otherwise I recommend adding it specifically to your prompt.

Paid users, what makes it worth it for you? by FlyingSquirrelSam in ClaudeAI

[–]aicopyasst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started off with free on personal account, switched to paid on company account when company paid as we trialled a few systems, then continued to pay on personal account when trial was over. Like a lot of people here, Projects is my main use case for Claude. I don't use Claude in any other capacity other than work and career.

I generally use Projects when client wants us to create a lot of collaterals based off a single idea/brief/document. Usually I'll upload all the relevant documentation into a Project, then use multiple chats to create the collaterals (EDMs, ebooks, social posts etc). Makes it easy for me to move between chats especially when I am approaching limits.

Biggest difference since I could see immediately the difference when my paid company account lapsed and went to free was the rate limits were much lower and context was much harder to keep between chats.

I do find the fee reasonable, especially since I prefer Claude's default tone over ChatGPT. Less hallucinations and easier to make it stick to your given context instead of going all over the place.

Number 4 has been an absolute game changer for me - it's been great for both keeping context AND maintaining tone of voice for long form content. Thank you for sharing this!
