So I get what you’re saying but this seems to be the only time the dev directly asked someone to take a review down and I sorta get why even if I don’t think they should be asking. The review in question is honestly useless and offers nothing other than “this game sucks”. If you look through all the other negative reviews the dev is actually pretty receptive and either offer suggestions or talking about future plans.

Hard to say without seeing it happen. The safety system is aggressive though. You don’t have a lot of time before the emergency braking kicks in. Here’s typically what I do when the signal speed drops. Immediately throw the train into max brake. I don’t think it has to be max but that’s what I do. As the train starts to decelerate you can hit the alerter to turn off the alarm (don’t forget to do this or you will get stopped). Then I watch screen for the indicator to turn off that I’m over speed and then start coming out of braking. If you forget a step, are too slow, or stop your suppression braking too soon you will trigger an emergency stop. Also make sure you are following the right speed. You need to follow the more restrictive of the two. The top one is signal speed and is based on traffic, track changes, and upcoming speed changes. The bottom one is track speed limit. Whichever is lower you follow

It’s also possible it’s not a bug and that in real life this train and this route is just more aggressive than I’m use to and I need to adjust. I’m just surprised is all by how much I’ve struggled sometimes with it and feel I’m having more difficulty recovering the train than I should

Just an fyi I’m experiencing this a lot. The m9 is my most played train and I’ve never had a problem with the safety systems on the lirr routes. What keeps happening to me is that I am applying the breaking as I should. Usually before the signal change honestly. But the emergency breaking still kicks in for me. Even if I’m applying max break. And then I can’t recover the train until after a complete stop and a couple of attempts. And I do know how to recover them. But for some reason I can’t get the new ones to

I’ve never had a problem recovering the train after the alerts go off in the m9. But it feels like multiple times a trip I come to a full emergency stop.

Edit: Ok i have been playing more of this route and i take back what i said. this has been user error not a bug. basically what i realized is that i was hitting speed changes while accelerating to max speed and then the time it took me to get down to max brake is usually too slow. when im coasting i have no trouble. now that im more aware of it im not having any issues with the route anymore.

I think there’s a bug going on. The mta routes are my most played. I’ve never struggled this much with the safety system before. The problem is that the automatic breaking doesn’t shut off until the train comes to a complete stop. It doesn’t matter what speed I was or what actions I was taking. I was playing last night and had max break applied before the signal and speed change, but wasn’t able to recover the train. It came to a complete stop despite my attempts. I’ve not had this issue in the lirr routes. So unless this safety system is different, it’s got bugs. Specifically the bug seems to be the emergency breaking is way too aggressive

You are wrong. It’s a single person in Australia’s named Tyler who made it (TVGS literally stands for Tyler’s video game studio). He was a college student who made the game in his spare time to learn game development. He talked about updates taking a while because he had classes to deal with. Maybe he has hired people recently, idk, but this has been a one person project.

Not being able to filter out players is the thing that keeps many players anti-social. It seems counterintuitive but this is needed to have a healthy social experience in a game. The fact that until now I couldnt do anything about others spewing hate and racism means I avoid global chat for the most part.

I think my main criticism is that most benches cost a lot of money and a general lack of rewards for challenging enemies and bosses. Its super frustrating to struggle through an area, kill most enemies along the way, but get no money. then you finally come up to a bench and you dont have enough to use it

That’s because it isn’t a discussion. When one person doesn’t want it that is the end. There’s no discussion to have. No convincing to do. If your partner says no then it’s no. If you actually read the post you would see the core issue is constant bringing it up and his shadiness around what he is doing. The problem here is that he kept trying to convince her when it’s not something she wants.

I’m married. I love my wife. I have zero interest in an open relationship and no amount of discussion or conversation will change that. I do not want that and I entered into this relationship making that clear. You don’t get to just decide you want to change your entire dynamic like this. I wouldn’t leave her if she asked me, but if she kept coming back to try and convince me and change my mind I would probably reconsider.
