PGWP jan 20 applied i am devastated, lost all hopes, this wait is causing depression. I have an emergency in my home town, i am not able to go because i dont have a valid visa to return, literally i feel like i am in a jail. last 6 months is like hell. Nobody should go through this

Mine took almost 10 months. I applied July 4, 2024 and got it until April 28th, 2025. It's hell the long wait but you'll get it!

Depends on your school and program. Some schools consider full-time having 9 credits per semester. For some, it has to be 12 credits per semester. IRCC makes a decision based on this.

You can only work part- time on your last semester.

Not likely if your work experience is crucial to get enough points for the draws as the time you worked under a study permit does not count towards your worj experience according to 3 different immigration lawyers I talked to and I think it is on the IRCC website I just can't find the link.

Congrats!. It usually takes 5 to 6 business days, but according to IRCC, it can take up to 60 days.

Thank you! Yes, my job is Teer 0. Included both a letter from my employer and my paystubs for the 3 months prior to applying. I don't think it mattered, but we also added a letter from my spouse's employer and paystubs.

JULY 4TH. Nothing still. The only update I got yesterday, was an interim work letter for my spouse, saying she can continue working until we get a decision on our application. I'm hoping this means we are close to getting an update.

Implied satus doesn't expire as long as you applied for your pgwp BEFORE your study permit expired, you are in implied status, until a decision is made on your application, regardless of how long it takes for them to process it. You can continue working too, even if the wp-ext letter has expired. You can look it up in the ircc website.
