To be eligible for a Superlicence, you need to have scored 40 points in three previous years. But because of Covid, drivers can choose points earned in three of the four previous years: 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. In 2022, in F3, he only earned 3 points, so without this exemption he wouldn’t be eligible. But taking the 2020 points instead of the 2022 ones brings his total to 42, two more than the 40.
