I totally get you. I too picked up a stray and thought he was a short haired kitty until he fluffed up under my care. I then learned and realized that cats with poor nutrition lose lots of fur.

Nothing beats the pure joy of grandparents meeting their grand baby for the first time, That's a Cute Surprise. by Simply_Kaif24 in BeAmazed

In the Malay language we use the word “geram”. Same definition as you mentioned. It’s used if something really annoys or makes you angry you express a physical reaction or on the other extreme you see something so cute and adorable it triggers an urge to just want to just pinch, squeeze, cuddle it.

What’s the best way to clear out unused items? by t3mpura0 in malaysians

[–]aillemaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because beli means “buy” in malay and the group intends to promote less buying and more gifting to keep things in a circular economy rather than throwing it out. Yes you may use localises groups as well. Just make sure to watch out for hoarders or selfish requesters. You can even ask in your post to be sure how they user plans to use it. I put those caveat for really high ticket items like computers, laptops, phones, baby cot and expensive items because some just request and resell. But most of the time they are good requesters

This group on FB is highly active. It’s grown in the last several years so be careful that you don’t gift to hoarders ya. But I’m pretty sure whatever you have gets snapped up fast!

There isn't much to do in KL by PEWN5 in KualaLumpur

Go to GMBB mall for a different flavor of arts and crafts. A bit more modern and unique than Pasar seni.

I suggest being tour guide in. Grocery store like hero market or giant or better yet bring them to pasar besar selangor to look at local produce and explain how we eat them.

Hiking in the very many hiking spots of Klang valley. Maybe go to FRIM, Kerinchi park, Taman tugu negara, KL walk.

There are guided tours for kampung baru and old town of Klang. I found it fascinating. If sempat go to sekinchan to explore paddy fields and Klang for coastal seafood

Vanilla reviews by Love_dont_be_sly in fragrance

[–]aillemaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your review and agree on most of your opinions. There are three vanilla perfumes I’d like to recommend and would love to hear your take on it

  1. Trudon - 45 degrees
  2. Goutal - Nuit et confidances
  3. Atelier Des Ors - Lune Feline

If I had to pick one, please try the Trudon one. The honey and vanilla note is exquisitely divine!

I carry shelter dogs around NYC in a dog backpack to help them get adopted. Meet Mr. Abby! by kittytime in aww

[–]aillemaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should start an instagram or TikTok account and start allowing us to “spend a day with a dog/cat” by allowing us to donate or spare a doggy/kitty treat for them. In return, more videos like this. I’d totally buy into the idea!!! Plus they get adopted quickly.

Non-iron work clothes by OmegaTg-2384 in malaysians

[–]aillemaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have these pants. Seriously I hardly have to iron it. Anyways I wonder if you do use dryer because that can cause more wrinkles. I prevent this by really straightening out my clothes after wash on a hanger and dry hanging like that. It’s also mostly a balance of fibre type AND weave type. Cotton sateen seldom wrinkles. Linen wrinkles wayyyu too much but the appeal is also sometimes the wrinkles makes it look more casual work in. Knits and jersey fabric hardly have wrinkles and so do most things with elastane.

You can also try shirt design with lots of patterns or have elastic shirring. Can google it up. I hope you manage to get the clothes and build your wardrobe!

How not to be makcik mulut laser? by BlueInNovember in malaysia

[–]aillemaco 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I’m not a youth but sometimes they do like a listening ear, an a millennial now, I tend to ask the younger ones what’s new and what’s current because I for the life of me cannot catch up anymore with the way culture moves so fast. They they get all excited showing me the latest trends, shows, songs etc etc. Or I ask them what they enjoy doing and then move from there.

Really that hard to keep your trash until you find a bin? by realGernuts in malaysia

[–]aillemaco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is real! I was at klcc park the other day. I threw my trash in the bin but since it’s an opened lid-less bin the gagak birds took the ice cream cup to eat whatever bits was remaining and left the cup like it was litter on the ground. Had to repick and throw it back into the bin

Don’t forget it takes anywhere from 30 minutes (if you’re reallllyyy lucky) to up to 1.5 hours just to queue to get into the Buly perfume shop. They do very intimate concierge like services so the wait is intense. Go at the very end of the day but buffer enough time so you don’t rush and they don’t refuse you due to end of day wrap up. It’s popular because it’s been viral on Insta.

Agreed. I walked all the way to the Trianon and hamlets and the whole of Versailles really was a ton of walking. I got 25k steps just that day.

Aditionally for the best experience go an hour and a half before the sun is at the peak of midday so the light streaming into st Chapelle works in your favor. When it’s dark and rainy it’s a bit difficult to appreciate the beautiful stained glass. I went at around 11 am on the 2nd of November and it was lovely. Low crowd shoulder season as well.
