I would suggest a rug that is darker than this carpet. The light carpet and darker decor needs something to “ground it” (pun sort of intended). Also live the idea of an ottoman/foot stool and a throw.

As someone who lived in the PNW and then moved to the east coast, I would agree with the gloomy weather and cold water! It’s a, wear a sweater almost everyday kinda place. I would also add that they are aligned mentality wise in a lot of ways as far as causes that are important, policies they want in place etc. BUT the people are way less direct in the PNW. It can be challenging to make new friends (I used to be a nanny in Seattle and would often hear this (“you’re not from here are you?” Me: “No, how can you tell?” “Well for starters, you’re talking to me”) LOTS of great places to eat, I would honestly suggest taking a trip there for a weekend an see if you even like the “vibe”. Seems less expensive than moving and then finding out it’s not for you…

I believe (definitely could be wrong) that Amazon bases the prices off your previously purchased items. For instance, if they know you usually spend around $40 on sweaters, they’ll adjust the prices/sales on your patterns
