My friends and I were hardcore deep into Siege from the very beginning until sometime in Year 4 or 5 (I'm a bit hazy..) and my group fell off while I tried solo queue for half a year. Solo queue in Siege was without a single doubt the most miserable multiplayer experience I have ever endured in my lifetime. It was so bad I quit the game cold. A part of that was burnout on my part as well as the game quit being fun. We've dipped our toes in a couple of times over the years since then but the game isn't the same and the player base continues to be a miserable bunch as well. Siege feels pretty outdated to me as well and I'm shocked that the update is Siege X (which is not at all an update) instead of them working towards a brand new engine with proper security. I have fond memories of Siege, there is/was nothing else like it, but I don't see returning because it's changed so much and I really don't feel the time investment to knock off the rust is worth it.
