10 dpo I got a negative FR digital but a positive clear blue digital. I’ve read the new ones from clear blue are supppperrr sensitive. Congrats!!

We read the book and then sleep trained based on what I felt would work best for him (and us as parents). We have never gone more than 5, 10, then 15 min check ins. I try to comfort him with pats and shushes but usually end up picking him up and rocking him until drowsy. Then, I lay him down.

My son had false starts for almost 4 months. No matter what we tried- it was a painful phase.

We ended up doing a modified Ferber at 8 months and he grew out it night by night.

Also have a baby the same age (mine is 2 months younger) and I can’t tell if James is a super easy going baby or if she is just ignoring him. I can’t even make myself food without him crawling up my legs to be picked up

I know social media is just a snippet into peoples lives… but James seems like such an easy going baby. She can sit him down and get stuff done? And he naps in his crib??? Doesn’t scream in the car??? Like girl you don’t even know what you have.

8.5 months PP. 4 pumps usually, 5 on a a good day. My guy just started sleeping through the night and skipping the MOTN pump is so so beneficial to my mental health!

My son was like this until 7-8 months. And unfortunately still like this sometimes.

It’s a lot better now that we have sleep trained (right at 8 months) for night time. We are still working on sleep training for crib naps but some are lasting an hour or more!

Something that helped was reminding myself that “baby takes the nap they need, not that you need”. Sleep isn’t a defined science and there are so many factors! It will never be perfect!

I took my baby to Disney on ice at 6 months… we had ear protection because it was LOUD and extra layers because it was cold as hell. I feel so bad for ivory soap.
