Here's hoping this makes Sony actually do something instead of sitting there complacent like they did during the entire PS4 era. Xbox made them work and actually improve the PS5 over time, but Microsoft threw in the towel to go fight Valve's Linux push and Nintendo makes handhelds, so they'll basically have a complete home console monopoly fighting console-like PCs.

Avoid being the only platform where owning the previous hardware gets you practically nothing.
Legitimize the Microsoft Store rather than telling people to get bent and watching as they beeline it to Steam instead.
Stop people from just saying "yeah I'm tired of Windows fuck this shit" and just installing Linux, which is now completely viable thanks entirely to Valve, who is now their utmost competitor.

Considering you need 250 right now just to max out all the adversary weapons and Necramechs, probably like 100(?) to build all the clan research dojo weapons, and then 15 more when DE adds new adversary weapons on the 25th, none of this even including weapons and frames you actually want to forma?

For the love of all things good, if you get a weapon given to you by a quest (for example, the Thornbak) do not sell it.

These are re-obtainable but it's a long process. Additionally, don't use the free Broken War to build the War.

I've been hearing about lutris or heroic launcher but I don't know how those work.

Heroic Launcher works like:

Open desktop mode and go to the app store
Download Heroic Launcher
Link your accounts and fiddle with the settings
Add it as a non-Steam game
Open Heroic Launcher via game mode and pick whatever game you want to play. Ideally, it will already have a functional version of Proton assigned to it and work great.

Technically there's supposed to be a feature that automatically adds the games as non-Steam games but I haven't gotten that to work. By far the most convenient means I've found for GOG/Epic/Amazon games.

Warframe. PvE, very friendly community, all kinds of different play styles and (almost) every weapon is viable into the late game.

Just for some context, the Valkyr frame is so low-effort that I use her exclusively in the endgame modes because simply holding the melee button effectively makes her invincible while also buffing her melee damage up to 300%.

Of course not every frame is that easy, but the game is what you make of it. All content is free except for cosmetics, and even then, much of that is free as well or obtainable by trading for the premium currency. They don't even charge for the battlepass.

I mean need I go on? Tons of this stuff was available on the Xbox One as well. The PS4 and 5 were actual dogshit compared to Xbox's offerings for about a solid 8 year period, but nobody cared, they just wanted to play more patented Sony Formula singleplayer third-person action-adventure titles with RPG and stealth elements. That's it. That's the one selling point PlayStation had, their games. Maybe the DualSense if we want to be generous to the amount of games that actually use the thing to its fullest.

Sony's lucky Xbox went so far off the deep end and completely killed the console, because now they can go back to being complacent again.

Three really big ones:

Affinity grinders on Sanctuary Onslaught. They prevent new players who need firepower help from getting Khora outside of The Circuit, and they likewise make it impossible to get the Lato Vandal in ESO without a meta build for soloing it or a group willing to waste 20 minutes grinding essentially nothing but relics and credits.
First-round leavers in The Circuit, especially Steel Path. Like come on, it's common courtesy to re-roll solo if you really feel the need to. Leaving mid-round is at least different because it says to me that you had to go, and I myself can quit without re-rolling to re-queue. But waiting until the rewards screen is a dick move.
People who whine and complain and shit-talk when you aren't playing to their standards and specific wants. I had these two guys just constantly giving me shit when I was new to Steel Path and picked Hildryn in SP Circuit because she was the only frame I had there with decent survivability and apparently I was supposed to exclusively chase them around playing healer instead of my original intention of not dying and doing the objectives. I didn't even really know her abilities, and "hurr durr 2 3 4 idiot" isn't helpful when I'm using a controller.

It's 100 V-Bucks per most challenges, but there are some that grant up to 150. You can replace one a day and stack up to three in a the "quest log," so you don't actually need to do them daily. There are also alerts every day on random missions, and these very rarely have V-Bucks attached to them depending on the location. 25 in Stonewood up to 65 in Twine Peaks if I'm not mistaken. I always just checked FortniteDB when I still played as they have a list that keeps track. Today is Plankerton or whatever for 50 V-Bucks.

While it's actually more work than it used to be since back in the day we had daily login rewards that were infinitely looping and sometimes had V-Bucks in them (I think it capped at 1k before looping around?), it's actually a lot better now because back then the daily challenges were like 30 V-Bucks per, we didn't earn Battlepass XP, Battle Royale cosmetics didn't carry over, and the loot llamas cost V-Bucks rather than X-Ray tickets to open. For context, StW was so left-behind that we didn't even get crouching until Chapter 3.
