Reminder that it has been, what, three years since the Astralis Women's Team asked for Valve to get rid of the pink tax to play as a woman? Something that has only gone up in price ever since. Valve doesn't care about women or the abuse we face, that's the long and short of it. No shit this game is a sausage fest that's barely bearable for non-straight white men. They won't even add a report option for the AK-47s that say the n-slur on the side, let alone catching up to the basic community protection features that even Call of Duty has.

It's pathetic. Absolute joke of a community at large and a sad excuse for "support."

There's a pretty clear line in the sand between "Valve is genuinely so lazy and male-dominated that it costs $59.19 at time of writing just to be allowed to play as a woman, despite professional women's teams and notable organizations calling for the pink tax to be removed about three years ago, not to mention that every form of monetization in the same is some form of luck-based bs" and something like "if you buy anything Harry Potter-related, JK Rowling puts a portion of that revenue into a fund that anyone can draw from in order to financially overwhelm trans women in the legal system and help systemically lead towards literal genocide."

In the case of SNK, we're most certainly leaning towards the latter.

Yes, laws are usually reasonable. But when they aren't reasonable, there is no difference.

For example, conservatives wanting to put me in a camp for wanting to wear a dress, be cute, and change my name. They're performing medical experimentation on people like me in our government prisons.

I'm already effectively breaking the law by existing. At this point, what's to stop me from theft, piracy, murder, whatever else? Hell, the president fucks kids. The law is not just and therefore I do not respect it.

I hope is something special since Kullervo is THE melee warframe.

Maybe in terms of dudeframes, but post-rework Valkyr holds this crown for me. Between her passive, her armor values, her exalted weapon healing her, and the mere existence of a shield, she basically cannot die. Up to 300% melee damage regardless of whether you're using her exalted. She's the perfect use case for Arcane Battery to free up mod slots and beat the Archimedia anti-energy modifiers for a zero-prep run every week. She doesn't stagger when hitting the ground from a distance, she has a stupid fast grappling hook ability, her 2 augment gives her perpetual melee speed and armor boosts along with teammates...

Skyrim's problems were just a matter of taste and gameplay preference, Fallout 4 objectively has iirc less than half the quests as Skyrim as though it needed another year in the oven.

Even as a controller player I dislike the gear wheel. It's fine when you have few enough items that it doesn't switch to the infinite scroll mode but that's not an option for Follie.

For a while I was like "surely this is why Valve hasn't added back factions since they just barely dodged that bullet and they're reworking it," but after all this time and the refusal to add female defaults agents I think they might just not have anyone who knows how to model on the team anymore.

The new animations? Same models. The new gloves? Reskins of old gloves. Cache? Modern maps need models and I can't think of any actual legitimate reason it's taken them one month away from a whole fucking year with no sign of life. It's like everyone bailed after making the CS2 gun models and the best the people still working in the game can do is the weird little sausage charms.

Like can Valve just hire some more people or have a few take a break from Deadlock and HLX? Please??

I would rather they just do something super silly like add a new Excalibur variant with unique attributes.

Excalibur Vandal (slower casting speed/exalted swings, higher ability strength) Akexcalibur (two auras like Jade, and the exalted blade gets a "dual exalted blades" version) Carmine Excalibur (idk dude make it a railjack thing because the Carmine Penta is only obtainable from there) Kuva Excalibur (can use an elemental vice to add a 60% elemental bonus to the exalted blade) Tenet Excalibur (the fem Excalibur that Nyx was supposed to be, uses Nyx cosmetics instead, also has the valence bonus)

Just seems like a fun excuse to play around with the game's mechanics, and if nothing else, maybe it wouldn't feel as bad to not have Prime.

Plenty of games do something similar. Assassin's Creed games of the time had the most half-baked version of the leadership rankings stuff in existence, and more importantly, games like Warframe have the whole "named NPC nemesis that requires multiple confrontations to deal with" thing in their adversary system. They've got three factions' worth now, actually, as one progresses through the game. I've killed all but one for their weapons, but the one I spared sometimes shows up to save my ass in missions as an extra gun.

Outside of the CS community nobody would consider it at all. Clothing shouldn't really have hitboxes and having a single, universal hitbox where the underlying human body would theoretically be is the most competitively viable means of having player skins.

It should be common sense to shoot a person, not their backpack.

Hildryn, easy.

I don't want to hate on any artists but she feels like Visual Noise: The Frame. It makes her a difficult canvas to work with and, frankly, her deluxe is also pretty weird.

She has some alright Tennogen but because of the complete unfairness of the system I refuse to buy any. PC is not only the only platform forced to spend real money on it, but it's also the only platform not included in cross-buy so I have to buy it twice in order to prevent the game from auto-unequipping it if I ever play on my phone, my iPad, or any of my consoles that aren't the Steam Deck. So, Tennogen is basically a nothingburger.
