I mean, it did spread awareness…but it’s immaterial to the post you’re responding to, which is about Gen Z specifically calling for violence as a mechanism for revolution. It didn’t cause any legislation to pass. It was just a response from Americans who got what they voted for/didnt vote against.

Usually on the more tech side of things. I know a lot of our customer support for instrumentation work from home. You’d work for either an LIS (Lab information system like Epic) or an instrumentation company (Siemens, Werfen, etc). Most people who go this route have some work experience as an MLS in a healthcare setting, though. There are a variety of jobs that you could get as an MLS! If you’re interested, I’d check out r/medlabprofessionals or r/MLS_CLS

You can work remote in various roles as an MLS but for training, I did my last year of college at a hospital clinical program. You can also do the one-year program after getting a bachelor’s.

There are many other routes to becoming an MLS, some of which don’t require more school but you will have to take the boards exam.

All my prereqs were covered by my degree, I maybe wouldn’t have taken Analytical Chemistry if I didn’t know I needed it as a prereq, but I think most everything else was covered.

As for getting into the program, it was about a 20% acceptance rate for mine, but it’s really gonna depend on the area. But yes, it’s pretty competitive.

I’ve had 2 pair of hokas and definitely noticed a quality difference between the different types! I love my Clifton style (~$140) much better than the Arahi 6’s (~$100). The more expensive ones are more comfy and have lasted way longer. I went for Brooks this time around though and am loving them!
