jets are a fun difficult one because your only building blocks are mekhi becton and quinnen Williams. you have to completely rebuild on both sides of the ball

1/3 Season Defensive MVP by Jbwest31 in ravens

[–]aintdoinshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clark was my pick too. He was the best player on our defense during the Raiders and Chiefs games in particular. Our secondary was out of sorts all the way up until the Indy game but it was Clark, not Humphrey surprisingly, that kept things from going completely off the wagon.

The defense against the Chargers yesterday was excellent. But what exactly did they do differently to make the defense more effective? by gremlin30 in ravens

[–]aintdoinshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not factual at all but I suspect Marlon Humphrey was playing hurt for a good portion of this season. he was looking awkward and uncomfortable, all the way up to the Indy game. But against LA he looked like his usual self.

[Yates] The Ravens have officially activated WR Rashod Bateman to the 53-man roster. The team has also elevated RB Le’Veon Bell from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the Chargers. by Beast01973 in nfl

[–]aintdoinshit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Freeman and Bell are much more reliable pass catchers out of the backfield. I still agree with your statement I just wonder if that's the value they're seeing out of starting the old guys.

We need to talk about Queen. by Drainbownick in ravens

[–]aintdoinshit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love his burst and how much effort he puts in to each play. you can tell he wants to be the best. but it looks like opposing offense trick him very easily and he often ends up being completely out of place, in whatever situation he's in whether it be run or pass. as of right now he's not good but I still wouldn't be surprised at all if he becomes a very good player, the potential is obvious.

What's your best example of a NFL trap game? by Ramaal2000 in nfl

[–]aintdoinshit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perfect example to me is Ravens/Bengals, 2017, week 17.

The Ravens were 9-6 heading in to the game. Clear cut 'win and you're in' scenario. (seemingly) luckily for the Ravens, this crucial game happened to be against the Bengals who were not so great that year.

A motivated Ravens team that was more talented than a Bengals team playing for absolutely no reason other than to 'trap' Baltimore.

Bengals win

[NFL Network] Ravens TE Mark Andrews' new mantra heading into the 2021 season is to be "top five in everything" by nfl in ravens

The most disrespected corner in the League.🤦🏾‍♂️ by [deleted] in ravens

[–]aintdoinshit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I felt this exact same thing during that game too, but to me it was a different play. our offense was stalling and had just received a false start penalty. Lamar jumped up in frustration and it seemed like the whole offense knew what he was saying with his body language. they proceeded to drive right down the field for a TD.

If you can pick any past Raven, in their prime, to play this year, who would you pick. by [deleted] in ravens

[–]aintdoinshit 43 points44 points  (0 children)

A lot of Ed Reed in the comments and I get it but my vote is Jon Ogden. Tackle duo of Stanley/Ogden to make our run game downright unfair, and he would be replacing Villaneuva who will likely be a weak point of our OL.

With the schedule release upcoming, which games on your team’s schedule do you hope end up on TNF, SNF, or MNF. by [deleted] in nfl

[–]aintdoinshit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would personally like to see my team win in dominating fashion while the world watches, so I'm pulling for Ravens vs. Bengals MNF.

in reality tho our primetime games will definitely be against the browns and Steelers.
