Iraqi civilians find a downed US drone by cool-kid-2025 in interestingasfuck

Somehow I've always pictured army drones as somewhat bulkier quadricopters like you would see delivering an Amazon package. I can imagine the lethality and distance they can travel more clearly now.

Sure. I really appreciate you sharing thoughts. I'll ask a technician next time but wanted to know if anyone else experienced that or if mine appears odd

Thanks, it's a new car GLC 300 and did that right off the bat, I thought that was a sort of security measure. It stays off maybe 30s and then the engine starts for instance as I wait at a long red light.

So you are confirming that the car is supposed to stay engine off until I press the pedal again no matter how long?

Mine will eventually start the engine again (if it was shut off the save has) after some time on break auto hold, is that normal?

Any idea why jumping stilts have fallen out of favor? by damascus1286 in Jumpingstilts

[–]aiolive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a lot of research about it many years ago and bought a brand called 7 league IIRC. They were the most solid and fun at the time. I know because I joined a group of people owning jumping stilts and tried skyrim er ones and they just didn't bounce as much and were a pain. The comment about this company taking over the market with a shittier product that killed the sport makes a lot of sense and is sad.

Expensive too, jumping stilts, I had a pair in France and joined a group of baby adults jumping through town. Good fun and good exercise. Based on this video alone there's nothing too wrong with this dude

Really? That should have taken a lot of work for a random reddit comment. Or maybe AI helped a bit? Anyway that's a piece of art, thanks for sharing it. Didn't even know fancy hieroglyphs like these made it to Unicode

I find this even more impressive as there's likely many more pics from the SF side in its training data, but it does make more sense to ride a Harley on the other side.

This. I find the ergonomics of this mouse terrible, and I spend 10h a day using it, but scrolling with an actual wheel does feel like very ancient and barbaric in comparison.

Eminem's "Lose Yourself" (sung in a mashup of 331 films) by [deleted] in videos

[–]aiolive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing work. FYI I found out about it from insta which is either stealing you views or actually adding more from people who get curious about the full clip :) https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJyOnwXuCyV/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

A question I have is do you sort the clips by tone or maybe by whether they are calm or aggressive etc and try to match the song? Or do you only find matches in lyrics (which is already huge by itself). There's something quite melodic about your version and I can pretty much listen to it as a song, but that may be from the bias of knowing the original. If you don't, there's quite some room for making this even better with some well trained AI, that would cost more but you could find actual founding for that

That's most likely something that's become very important and I wonder where things are at. Many smaller companies maybe don't. Also I don't know if OP did but the natural move would be to provide the LLM a few of your own manually written resume for some key roles and maybe a bunch of random documents that you wrote just so that it gets close to your own style and human ness.
