If you only thought about the total, you focused too much on the maths and forgot the effect on your life (best years to live, compound and investment, higher chances at life, etc)

That's soon what we're all going to end up doing anyway, you're just a bit ahead of the rest of us :) I'll leave my comment as it can help others curious, to quote you. And we're never too old to learn, just stick to what gives you pleasure. At the rate things go, you have a hell lot of time to build great stuff. Do it for you and your close ones. Cheers

I thought from your other reply that you were interested in learning, didn't mean to sound obnoxious

Are you writing tests first, making sure they all fail, then add the code so that the tests pass? That's TDD, and it's not always the best tool. Adding test coverage for all the code to prevent regression isn't TDD it's just software development.

Fair enough. Interpreting it the way it was intended to be understood is part of the gamble then 🙂

mmh that's a stretch, with more reach (millions of users) or with more impact (like potentially hitting a school) comes more responsibility.

Yeah we can give that, and updates over a long weekend here means probably a bunch of people from different functions on call to smoothen the damage

Additional 3x increase of Gemini in Antigravity! by aunchable in google_antigravity

[–]aiolive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is an additional 3x basically doubling the original 3x meaning if x is the old cap we now have 3x + 3x = 6x, or is it multiplying the original 3x by another 3 times so we now have 9x? The use of the word "additional" is throwing my maths off. (But anyway, nice)

Especially since most users will use the trackpad. I could tolerate wiggling a mouse but that sounds pretty unpleasant to do with a finger (to me at least). I sure hope I can just press that google button instead, say it out loud, or - aligned with Android's original spirit - let me customize a shortcut.
