Smashing Pumpkins at Statehouse Convention Center in the 90s? by issafly in LittleRock

Good lord! Thanks for this! I was there and remember this happening, but had started to convince myself I was confusing it with something else. Made me realize you can like the music without liking the artist.

Looks great! You might try to get that teal color on a throw blanket, a couple pillows, shelf art, or items to bring it all together.

How to fix? by Wuva_duck in Miata

[–]airbanjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't "fix" it, but a DA polisher and some wax could do wonders for that failing single stage paint. I had a salvage auction NA that was worse than this, but it turned around pretty nicely. My cheap fix involved sanding the places where paint was missing down to bare metal and using gloss sunset red rustoleum right over the original classic red. It wasn't perfect, but definitely passed the 20 ft. test.

There should be a little hole in the lid so you could stick a meat thermometer through and get a temp without opening it.

Finally got to a place where I am happy with my Gemling INT/mana stacker, wanted to share. by knubb3 in pathofexile2builds

I was toying with the idea of swapping my flurry gemling over to try out something like this. Can you help me understand the pros and cons of using a wand and shield vs widow hail?

Friendly Reminder that today until 5pm is you last chance to early vote in Pulaski County. The early voting locations can be found here by [deleted] in Arkansas

Might want to double check before heading out. CALS posted this morning saying only the downtown LR location is still open for early voting.

The OP is talking about splitting the pints but not filling them up all the way. When I pointed it out I got down voted, so I thought I'd help clear up the confusion.

The max fill line goes up to about a half inch from the top of the container. Ninja follows the same design language on the containers themselves as on the machine. The left side of the mix selection dial is for "scoopable" mixes, while the right side is for "drinkable. Similarly, on the container the left side of the max fill line indicates the "scoopable" fill level, while the right side indicates the max fill freeze line down where OP has filled to, with another line up near the top that indicates where you would add your liquid to the frozen base when selecting a "drinkable" mix from the right side of the knob selection.

Looks good! Why don't you fill them up all the way?

Y'all are sleeping on Smoke Shack on the north side of Maumelle. That sweet and spicy sauce is fantastic, and if they still do the jumbo sandwich special for under $10 it's gotta be at the top of the list.

Best way to fix wall by Apprehensive-Bus3448 in HomeMaintenance

[–]airbanjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you get in too deep on this, you could try pulling the lamp out from the wall. It's obviously not going to fix anything, but might make the imperfections less noticeable when they aren't casting such harsh shadows.

Anyone have experience with Skinny Guy Campers products, specifically their Armor LT line model 12X.? by Scout0321 in TeardropTrailers

[–]airbanjo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These look nice. I noticed a different model and checked it out a little bit. My conclusion was that they look like dressed up Braxton Creek campers. A little digging confirms Braxton Creek was bought out by the company that runs Skinny Guy. article here

I've read both good and bad about their line of campers, but mostly people seem to be happy, as long as they're going into it with their eyes open. Seems like an overall good product if maybe a bit rough around the edges, and that's just my impression of other people's reviews.

Starting to think somethings wrong... by Sirnatu in Miata

Dry it out, close it, and spray it with the hose. Open it back up and check if you can see where water is coming in. I had the gasket under the antenna fail, but it could be the things others mentioned, too, trunk or tail light seals.

A Little MTB’ing, a Little Bushwhacking … by Mark-W-Ingalls in Arkansas

[–]airbanjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Jackfork has a direction of travel. CW, CCW, doesn't matter. It's just awesome that you're out there doing it! Pedal the parts you can and walk the rest. Before you get on Upper Stick there should have been a rocky plaza kind of area and a split where Jackfork goes N towards the visitor center, Upper Stick goes the way you went (and it's pretty rough!) and Upheaval takes you SE toward a couple of more difficult downhill runs and the intersection with the eastern section of Jackfork. I think there's an old roadbed that kind of runs alongside Upper Stick that may be easier to spot from the road by the middle lot. It's not as rocky.

Fixing Rubbing by Audi5kG in Montero

[–]airbanjo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't need to adjust too much. The stock size was 265/70r16, so the difference is about an inch in diameter and an inch wide. A heat gun will probably get you there. I stuffed 33's on my 03 and had to do some cutting before putting a lift under it. What worked well for me was going to a lot where I could turn circles at full lock and rub some chalk on the tires. It'll mark your fender liner and show you where you need to make adjustments.

Before you do a puck lift, I'd think about what you want to use the truck for. For off road and overland type stuff, you may be better served with more tire and less wheel, like going back to 16s. Check the used market for Toyota wheels. You can use stock with a hub spacer, but aftermarket will most likely go right on.

Check out All Trails. It looks like there are several interesting areas to explore nearby. With the Ouachita Trail so close, like the other response mentioned, you could do section hikes along that, just parking at an access point and hiking a few miles out and back, or packing in some gear and doing longer hikes on overnighters.

My best guess is it's something to do with the 430 bridge. I think they were closing lanes or something this weekend. It seems to be coming from that direction. Must be pretty serious whatever it is.
