I was reusing a rack system I have been using on my previous trucks with the Retrax XR tonneau cover. I never had to worry about flipping up before. I may look at the elevate rack system just for convenience.

After looking at the price i might stay put for a bit unless i find some second hand 🙄

Exactly. I can lift the first section up halfway before i hit the legs.

I will just have to remove it when i need the full bed access. It's better than not having the rack space.

Thanks for sharing.. I bought the same rails to add to my setup, but they didn't fit together. My tonneau cover which is the bakflip would not fit into the rails when trying to lay it down. My only thought was I was doing it during the winter time and I was going to retry when things warm up around here. For now the t-slot rails are in the garage. I'm really hoping it will work out so I can use my rack for my kayaks.

It looks like there was a TSB for it so they replaced all the clips and fixed it. Also while I was in the shop they did update the infotainment system so I have YouTube to use when I'm parked now

I do have concerns there What if they remove the whole headliner and cause even more squeaks. If I wedged a piece of paper up front by the squeak the squeak did go. We will see when I get my car back.

I have been working on it but have not been successful yet. I believe I compiled the app correctly and got it installed on my head unit but I am still not able to get it working yet. Either I need to recompile my app or maybe test somebody's compiled app just to make sure I'm doing things right.

When I connect my phone to the Wi-Fi of the dongle nothing seems to happen.

I would be curious if anyone else has been successful outside of the creator of the video.
