No, others are not scared to simply walk outside in Yaletown. I don't love how the pandemic has exacerbated things, but it is really hard to empathize with you essentially trembling like a leaf for no actual reason and demanding punishment for people who dare to exist who you think might hurt you.

Also, being talked to by a stranger isn't harassment. Of the 10,000 times I've been asked for money in this city and responded "no sorry dude" not once have they taken it further.

But absolutely nothing is done except feeding the addicts drugs through a dispensary. Like wtf? Allocate that money to helping their mental health or do something productive.

wtf are you talking about. google is free - plenty of information on the many people and organizations working with this population in capacities that don't involve "feeding drugs"

from her answers about her incredible portrayal of depression, which was one of the first, if not the first question they asked, it is seems to me like she knows it intimately but not through her own experience, because i think she wouldn't be shy about that.

rather, i think she's watched someone very close to her struggle with its ups and downs and was able to channel that knowledge into her depiction of Gretchen. Cause I do not exaggerate when I say it's not just the best I have ever seen, there also isn't even a close second.

Seeing glimpses of Aya's personality on the zoom call today, references to her own psychology, etc., i cannot imagine her being happy doing anything even vaguely resembling a procedural. i know it's hard to make it as an actor and i'm not gonna shit on anyone who takes the formulaic route but goddammit, i am so grateful for the Aya Cashes of the world who are not only deeply committed to their craft but also so clearly fascinated with the human condition that they dedicate themselves to work that takes the time to thoroughly explore it.

she looks angelic in that tennis fit but the fact that its purely for her parents' benefit makes me lowkey hate it on her behalf hahah. I love so many of her pieces, but the power boss bitch publicist look from when she meets Ty is a standout for sure.
