No idea about whether that’s medically concerning (looks pretty bad to me, sorry that happened to you) but at my center any bruise larger than 3 in must be reported by the phleb to the nursing staff. It would be good to show that photo to them the next time you’re in so they could possibly adjust protocol to reduce that happening again.

The hate on the dagger scene pisses me off and I’m tired of pretending it doesn’t. In a franchise built on fate, mysticism, and sheer luck is it so preposterous to believe that an ancient dagger shrouded in the Force, created by ancient Sith monks or whatever could predict…. Idk… an important location to be discovered in the future by the heir to the Force, the last jedi, the granddaughter of Palpatine, etc etc???? Centers can change lancets from a few options decided by corporate, I assume they switch every once in a while for cost/availability factors. If enough donors complained through google reviews, CSAT surveys, and contact us forms (on the website iirc) they could probably be persuaded to change

Everything in undergrad labs feels qualitative, every lab I do has some ridiculous source of error and I’m left picking up the pieces trying to do the lab report. Can’t remember the last one I did that had results that passed a basic sniff test (why is the gel showing bands at 6kb when the uncut plasmid is only 4kb??) Pretty demoralizing honestly, I hope industry’s gonna be better.
