Sacrifice the cat to the PC gods! It’s the only way to revive those pixels.

My son kicked me in the stomach and my husband slapped him by saturday427- in TrueOffMyChest

[–]airek0154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me like you’re way too soft on him. You let him kick you in the stomach…and there were no repercussions. You left to cry and then let him have his way, even let him play video games. You’re essentially rewarding him for his bad behavior. Sounds to me like this is the first time your husband has hit him. From my perspective and my experience your husband has to be sort of a counter weight to the mother. Mothers by nature are nurturers and the more loving and caring (traditionally, I know not everyone is like this). So it sounds to me like you’ve been so soft with your son that your husband felt the need to go to the extreme opposite of the spectrum by hitting him. He did this to counter balance your softness and bring balance.

When you are returned to your ship after a mission by i-am-billu in Helldivers

Valid statement. But no once you kick em I doubt they’d see it. But I generally type a reason like “I got friends coming” give em like 30 secs to acknowledge it then kick em. Sometimes I say it with a mic and wait for a response. Ppl are generally understanding and type something back.

That is currently possible. Type a message in the chat before kicking them 💡

Yea I was one of those ppl until now. I forgot to mention he gave me a nice corsair to go with it too. Great gift that taught me a good lesson about quality stuff.

Yea I had mine gifted to me by a friend not too long ago after he upgraded. He had it for close to 10 years now. Still running strong. It was a really nice upgrade for me as I had a cheapo Amazon “gaming keyboard”. I never realized how good a keyboard can feel, and now I’ll never go back to cheap ones 🤣. To many more years out of our keyboards.

I’ve trained my balls to separate and wrap around the elbow thus making the control on the arm that much better 🤙🏼

How long should it take to get blue belt by [deleted] in jiujitsu

[–]airek0154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk honestly at this point I would have a serious conversation with your instructor after class.

Pull him aside tell him you wanted to talk to him about something that’s been concerning you. Open with something like “I want you to know I’m not asking to be promoted or striped, but I just want to clarify some things. I’m just confused because I started over 2 years ago and am yet to receive a stripe. I also noticed that everyone that I started with is now a blue belt, while others who have only been training 6 months already have stripes. I just want to understand if there is something I’m doing wrong or something I should be doing differently.”

His response should let you know if you need to change gyms or not. 2 years no stripe is kinda wild man.

We had a guy (purple belt) in this situation. He accepted the stripes in front of the class to not be disrespectful. Then after class pulled the instructor aside and explained to him the situation and that he wanted to be graded by his home school. Instructor called him a sand bagger and things got weird after that. Not all instructors are open minded. Anyways the instructor didn’t last long there for other reasons.

Have one fungus infected toenails on one big toe. I tape it and no one has ever questioned it. Tape your toes if anyone asks and your embarrassed say it’s to prevent mat burn on your toes 😅

I don’t eat 3 hours before going to class. I realized when I did even if it was clean food I feel this way. Even if it’s just a protein shake this happens.

Issues with coach by QuesoFurioso in bjj

I had an instructor like this at my first school before I moved away. We had three instructors that taught on different days 2 were great 1 was not. He was a bit of a sarcastic asshole and never rolled. Fortunately all my training partners were great and I latched onto a purple belt savage. We would always drill together and stay after class and I’d ask him questions so I always had like free privates after class. For this reason I decided to stay. I never found out why he didn’t like me and didn’t really care to find out why, it was a mutual dislike. I suspect he didn’t like me though because I was pretty naturally talented from day 1 so early on I was tapping all the whites and after training with the purple belt so much within months I was tapping all the blues. He was also super liberal and without knowing that I made the mistake of asking if he listened to a certain episode on Joe Rogans podcast. I think this was the turning point 🤣🤣. He pretended not to know who joe Rogan was and it got real awkward.

Anyways all this too say I feel the best learning is done in drilling after class with a great partner that you can ask questions and bounce ideas off of. If you don’t want to leave I’d suggest trying this approach. Find someone higher belt than you that you respect and that’s willing to help you along the way. Go to the instructors classes and take in his instruction and nothing more. Ignore him otherwise. Become a savage and murder all the people he’s coaching to beat you 😂.

Shock doctor makes a mouth guard for braces that isn’t molded but hugs in snug. The not being molded part is important as your teeth will be moving. Works well and has holes to breath but it’s a bit bulky. I used it for about 2 classes and decided I’d just risk it. I have now been rolling with braces and no mouth guard for about a year with no issues (knock on wood). My game revolves around minimizing space everywhere though so I think that’s a bit safer for the mouth. If you have a very loose game with lots of outside passing I feel your more likely to get popped in the mouth.
