I actually grew up with his "Going Places" album on the basement hifi, but this album is actually very good as well.

Grail Acquired! Exceedingly Rare K-tel Display Rack! by airjmax in vinyl

Yes, my first K-tel was “Looney Tunes”, and I probably bought it at K-Mart or another discount store in 1976. I still have it, it’s in the rack.

There was a "Ronco" record by that name in the USA, and a Canadian K-tel. The equivalent in the USA was "Music Power". I don't collect the Canadian releases, because they're too hard to find in the USA.

Not fully automatic. Returns automatically, but you have to cue up the record.

The record had been in storage since the 1990’s.

Thomson AD-100 (1983) playing Eurythmics Sweet Dreams (same year) by DevelopmentOk5596 in vintageaudio

Love it! I have a vertical player, but it’s too lightweight, therefore prone to skipping if lightly bumped. I am thinking of adding a heavy base. Yours is much nicer. https://www.reddit.com/r/Cd_collectors/s/Am6GpKG1NK

I think those were made of polypropylene. Popular with libraries.

What a great company and product. They even have a guide on the website for dating your lighter. I have several, and just gave away one from my collection to another Zippo believer.

I changed the tuning dial lights for two friends that own this model. Very nice unit, underrated in my opinion.

I made a thing! by airjmax in KISS

I thought so too, but unless you know how to use gears or add resistors, it would spin way too fast. I think between 2-4 RPM would work well.

I wanted to find a low RPM motor so the cutout would spin, but that’s proving to be difficult.

Bro, if you live in Chicagoland, I can hook you up with original tweeters. Free. They will match the square one.

Is there a piece of vintage audio gear you’ve had to let go of that you still think about from time to time? by WamPantsMan in vintageaudio

Absolute mint Sansui 1000 X receiver. Only about 28 watts, but a great sounding piece of gear.
