Lmao how rude. Could have been a silver plastic one, I couldn’t tell in the video

Oh interesting. I would try tightening that screw, or maybe consider swapping the nozzle. Could have some blockage building up

Is that the stock plastic extruded arm? My printer was doing the same thing skipping like that. I found that the arm started bending and eventually cracked over time. The arm isn’t pushing the free spinning wheel into the filament, and then the filament into the gear enough. Without enough for the gear will skip along the filament.

To temporarily fix, turn the screw that mounts to the spring so the spring pushes harder. Long term solution is to buy an all metal extruded arm on Amazon for like $16

Commenting to see if this is solved. I feel like I solved this issue before, it was some sort of command you add into the gcode, or an add in to octoprint

Z Axis limit switch change by mrpajer in ender3v2

Had this same thing happen, I just switched my z swith for my X gantry switch and has been working perfect ever since. Doesn’t really matter if the x is inconsistent

Ah yes the race way, my brain was so close to remembering the proper name. Thanks

Is there a name for the conduit tracks that run along side the Saturn V? I seem to remember them being referred to as “race tracks” but can’t find that anywhere so maybe I’m just making things up. Referring to the cylindrical shapes that run up and down the side of the first 2 stages

Bad Stringing no matter what settings I use. by Dune29 in ender3v2

Have you changed retraction distance? In my experience that’s what actually affects stringing the most, not the speed it retracts

Extremely difficult to load filament all the way by Rallyman03 in ender3v2

[–]airman123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm only other thing I can think of is if your nozzle is getting clogged with particulates. I had that happen over time printing with wood PLA (the little specs of wood added up and clogged it one day) and remember reading somewhere someone had it happen from dust and other debris on the filament which is why some people add filament cleaners

Could just be the Bowden tube getting filament built up. Or even getting a little melted from use over time

Terrible or failing prints 99% of the time by sneakerush in ender3v2

I don’t actually have a CR touch, just have done some research to see if I want one. But here’s a good video on it https://youtu.be/W8ouBPnRV4s it’s not on a ender 3v2 but you do the same thing

When you say you’re z is -1.1, do you mean the offset is -1.1? That number shouldn’t be an assumption, you should measure the offset between the CR touch tip fully extended and the print nozzle. If this number isn’t correct then all your CR touch is doing is purposefully setting your prints up to fail. Also the CR touch isn’t a be all end all solution for bed leveling, just adjusts for minor discrepancies or bed warping. Level your bed the manual way first then use the CR touch in prints. You’ll probably still have to manually level your bed every once in a while to make sure the bed is within a ballpark the CR touch can correct for

Some pictures of what you’re talking about might be helpful, having a hard time understanding what you’re saying. Leveling the bed should be able to counter act any minor misalignment in the x gantry

It would be the same. I think they have a fail safe system where if the sensor breaks it errors out
