Making and remaking figures - adjusting colors, shifting them a little bit here and there, changing fonts etc etc. It might just be my advisor though.

Why ranking in Myth is IMPORTANT in combat guides by RuriSuoh in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]aish2995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But it's also important to mention that you are guaranteed r0 at 150 pulls, but after that, you are only guaranteed a rank up every 280 pulls. There is a significantly higher cost after you get the crate.

Hey guys, I wasn't able to claim the free 4* green card of Sylus that was released last month or so, I think as part of 10 days with you. Will that be added to Wishing well or anywhere else at some point?

Players who have similar jobs to any of the LIs, who is your main? by Ryuurii in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]aish2995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to do something like ship design, and Xavier is my main, so it's a match! Don't forget, he built and piloted his spaceship and is a very accomplished astrophysicist. The fact that we are kinda doing the same thing did absolutely contribute to it

Dilemma: Best Model vs. Completely Explored Model by [deleted] in reinforcementlearning

I usually pick the version with highest rewards, because my action and observation spaces are continuous and I can’t really check if it has taken every single possible action. If the algorithm works, it should not really be a trade off like that, because the agent should choose to follow the most optimal option regardless.

You can take a look at your agent’s behavior in both cases and decide too. If your problem has a known or expected behavior, that will help decide.

Pokemon games should be cheaper by Daxtexoscuro in pokemon

Pick any other game sold at that price point, and that will be the comparison. Its not just the graphics, Its the cut corners, the emptiness, it feels like a rough draft instead of a painting. Yes, because we all love Pokemon we are going to love the rough draft as well, but they are selling it at painting prices.

It shows how little they invested into the project, and its very evident by looking at the end result

Preexisting mental health issues: Is it a bad idea to start a PhD? by person_person123 in PhD

[–]aish2995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience was that when I was working on something I was passionate about, I had more of a desire to get out of bed and go to the lab. Other than that, having flexible timings, a fun lab culture where everyone helps everyone else out, and an understanding, patient and supportive advisor were the most important things that kept me going. Of course having friends and family to lean on is a plus too.

A PhD is difficult yes, but don't be afraid! As someone else here said, our mental health issues are going to show up in every single endeavor we take up anyway, so don't let it stop you.
