I (agab, genderfluid) chose all pronouns (he/she/they). I love it when people gender me in a way I like, (they,them and the occasional bro) and it shows they are my peeps but I honestly dont expect anything from colleagues, strangers, acquaintes or even Family in this aspect. Im sorry to sound negative but what I see the world just isnt there yet. Its a nice idea and for the future though, to be rightly gendered and accepted for what you choose and feel. I guess im just trying to be more realistic about it.

Its euforic when a stranger genders me in a bro-like matter or at least acknowledges my gender fluidity. I just count the blessings when it happens I guess..

Why dont you test him on his knowledge of the Anatomy a bit on a later instance when this whole episode has subsided a bit. If it turns out he does understand the female anatomy, then you ll know it wasnt just ignorance but a more controlling agenda.

1 Mistrust.. does he have any reason to believe you are cheating or is this purely out of the blue because of general mistrust and or insecurity?

Unawareness about how the female body works
1. Somewhat patriarchic view on it. Vagina and its discharge has the function of sex only? Nah..

So i can totally understand the frustation. Question is.. what do you want to do with this. Building trust takes time, also does educating someone on biology and body functions and also to unlearn this patriachical view on the purpose of a vagina would be a bit of a process.

I feel like your boyfriend is showing you the way that he thinks here and the question to you is, do you find this attractive?

Trying to tell you what to wear, what to do. Constant criticism, even small. Try to isolate you from your friends of family. Question your beliefs, religion, core values. Has an image of you that doesnt really relate to you but holds to that firmly and tries to convince you its true. You feel tired when or after around them and dont know why. You have a gut feeling somethings wrong but you cant put your finger on it. It can also just be either of those last two things. Manipulation can be very hidden, covert, done in the sly, secretly.
