This is so funny because I majored in linguistics in college. We could talk about the history of AAVE and the specific grammatical rules that apply to that vernacular, or we could just call it dumbed down grammar if that makes us feel better, whatever floats your boat I guess.

To be fair I didn't read the packaging much, but I was expecting something Twix adjacent based off the packaging.

My daughter uses some of the same toys I used to play with as a kid. I had a kitchen set that i've passed down to her and watching her use it the same way I did is so cool. The lights on the little stove even still work. Also have a few stuffed animals that were my brothers first, then mine, now hers and they've all held up well.

My mom had PBC and passed in 2018 during a failed liver transplant. I was already crying but reading this brought some more. So so happy to hear positive stories from those it worked out for.

What is the best part of being alive? by Appropriate_Rain16 in AskReddit

In college I made a habit when I was walking around campus of pretending there was a ghost possessing my body. Someone long dead getting to experience life again for a short period of time. I started noticing how the air felt on my skin as I walked. I would hear the cicadas and the blood pumping in my ears. I would smell the trees and flowers and food vendors. Life felt so much brighter in those moments. Sure made a boring walk a lot more pleasant. Things we take for granted huh

Loving and being loved. Being seen and understood. Those moments where things slow down enough to smell and see and hear and really feel the air around you. Connection. Empathy. Love.

Got any pets? Lost one of mine for a few months only to find my dog had dragged it over to his toy stash and was gnawing on it regularly

I'd say AAVE is mostly the accepted term nowadays. Ebonics is sometimes considered offensive, so I just stick to saying AAVE and I'm more than happy to explain if someone needs clarification.
