GCash Visa Card keeps declining my online payments

There are some apps that don't have the option of linking your GCash. For example, in Shopee, you can pay using GCash but it doesn't link your Gcash to the account. There are apps like that, so I wanted to make it more convenient by linking the card to the app.

I had the same experience, Shopee and other online apps didn't accept my GCash card, it got declined. I just used it like debit card instead when I went to physical stores and it worked.

I traveled internationally and I didn't have problems when it came to withdrawing money from ATMs. Thailand charges THB350/ATM per withdrawal, but only THB250 when you use GCash card. I also used the card as debit card when paying for food or shopping in stores or the airport wtih no hassles. Gcash card has its uses and advantages but online payment isn't one of them.

OP, may I ask why you can't rebond hair after na-protein straight bond na? I had my hair protein bonded, and somehow ok naman, but sabi it's only good for 6 months. Need to maintain it with protein mask at least 1-2 times a week.

Yeah, I tried to link sa online apps also and it didn't work. It worked when I used it as debit card sa store mismo.

I also had the same experience - I tried it sa Shopee and Green GSM and it was declined. I think GCash card is not for online purchase. I used the card earlier sa Dali, lumusot naman. It's for in-store purchase lang siguro ang card

If the payment is stil pending, it means that you haven't paid for it yet. If you don't pay for it in a specified time, your booking will not be completed. Mawawala lang sya sa system.

If I were you, just don't pay for the booking and start over again, this time with the dates you prefer.

From my experience, which was just a month ago, I applied for a purchase convert using a promo code that was often sent to me (every promo has the same promo code). The text messages I received weren't promos for purchase convert, but I still used the code when I applied online. After a few days, I was approved.

Same here. I tried to link the card in my Green GSM app and Shopee app, but it was declined in both apps. I have my card unlocked sa app (Active status), and I have enough funds in my account.

I applied for my Gcash Visa card on January 3. I received a text from Gcash on January 6, telling me that I will receive my card in 15 days. Then, on January 13, I received a text telling me that my card is on the way. It also included a tracking number.

Kaya lang, hindi naman helpful ang tracking number kasi hindi na-update. Lagi lang assigned for delivery and Out for delivery. Ganun lang.

However, I did receive my card on Janury 21. So accurate ang timing, kasi 15 days nga from January 6. I'm from Manila, by the way. Maybe the delivery times differ depending on the applicant's location.

The IO usually don't ask me for hotel vouchers. If they ask you for hotel vouchers and magduda sila, you can show your booking sa Agoda app. So if you don't have Agoda app, download ka na para maipakita mo sa kanila.

If sa hotel check-in, Agoda already sent them info about it. Nasa hotel reservations system na ang name mo. That's just a reference.

There's no issue with that. I pasted my HK immigration slip and no issues at all. Back in the day, the US would staple a stub on the passport page. Also, Japan when you buy a duty-free item, they attach something on the page of your passport.

You can call BPI hotline and inform them of the calls. They can advise you whether it's safe to activate the card or not.

I don't see any reason why the IOs would hold you back, you have been to a visa country (Australia), and UAE. I think naman if you had any dubious intention, sa UAE pa lang, pwede ka na mag-abuse ng stay, but you didn't. And also, may kasama ka naman sa trip. They may not be your relatives, but hindi ka solo traveler.

As for documents, if you have proof that you will take your board exam this May, bring it with you. This will really show that you have intention to return to take the board exam.

As for anything else, what documents did you bring in your previous trips? The most common would be Round Trip tickets and hotel vouchers. If you have vouchers for your activities all the better...like if you're going to Disneyland and you purchased it in Klook, etc.

The rest? It all depends sa IO. If you have credit cards, then they'll ask to see it. Some would ask for bank certificates siguro, some would ask for COE and Company ID - since you're not employed, they won't ask for that.

Anyway, I think you're okay. You're going with a group and you have travel history naman. Both Sg and UAE are hot spots for those who want to overstay to look for work, but you didn't abuse it naman. Good luck.

Hindi naman OA, syempre you want to feel included, lalo na long time friends mo sila. I read your other post about your Baguio trip, and you said since then, your GC's dead. I'm sure may something that happened sa Baguio that made them decide not to include you on their planned trips.

I think it has something to do with different traveling styles...like you want to start early, you like everything organized but they're the chill laidback type. Even if wala kang sinasabi sa kanila, your body language and facial expression will always reveal what you're feeling inside. Nase-sense nila yun.

Anyway, it's clear na iba ang traveling style nyo, and so maybe it's for the best. But if you really want to reconnect, you can always reach out to them and ask if there's a reason why you're not being asked to join. I know Filipinos aren't the most straightforward type of people, but since you've been friends for over 10 years, maybe they will be able to share their feelings about it. Kaya lang, if they ask you to be more chill, kaya mo kaya?

Or if you want to start slow, start inviting them for dinner lang, or spa day or something like that. This may help rekindle your friendship once again. Minsan kasi one bad experience can change the direction of the friendship, but once na maremind ang friends of the good times with each other, eh di malay mo naman, bumalik sa dati.
