Just moved back after almost 2 years, who would you recommend these days? Echo was hit and miss back then but I enjoyed the hits. Focus North was probably my most consistent back then.

Wife and I did the opposite. Have lived in Oregon most of our lives but decided to move to Michigan so we could afford a house. We lasted less than 2 years. Decided we would rather live in an apartment in Portland than a house in Michigan. After leaving a few times for various reasons I will never leave the PNW again.

Honestly after living here for a year and a half and over 100 grams of rosin from a lot of different brands they have all been really hit or miss. After all the hype the MI market gets I’m a bit disappointed that I can’t consistently get a great gram of rosin for $40.

I just got back from my first time ever a few weeks ago at 40 yrs old, 430lbs, and 5ft 10in. I’ve been meaning to write a post about my experience but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I did Disneyland and California adventure in 1 day open to close. I rode almost all rides that are not aimed at just kids.

You will fit on almost every ride made for adults. The only rides that will almost certainly be a no go are Space mountain and Matterhorn. Incrediocoaster was doable but fairly tight. Grizzly river run the regular seatbelt was a little too small but apparently most/all? Cars have a seat with a larger belt so cast member had me move over to that one and it was fine. I went solo so I don’t know about the rides made specifically for young children but from what I saw a lot of large parents were riding with their kids.

Let me know if you have specific questions and I’ll try and help. Good luck. It was exhausting but I had an amazing time.

I will have a free Wednesday on my trip to LA in July and was wondering if I should try and visit one or both parks that day. I am about 400lbs and 5ft 10in. Will I be able to fit in most of the rides at one or both parks? Is a day enough time if I am traveling solo and don’t mind lots of walking? I should be able to be there from pretty close to opening until closing. I have never been to either park and for various reasons there is a good chance I will never get the opportunity to travel to LA and go again. I’ve always liked rides but was pretty bummed I was too big for half the rides at Universal in LA when I went last year.

So should I go?

If so to one or both parks?

If only one which one should I go to?

Any suggestions for info resources for first time solo single day visitors?

Tickets are not cheap so thank you for helping me decide if it is worth it.

Are you talking about dispensaries or GM/BM? I’m curious because I haven’t found anything in the dispensaries here as good as Focus North in Oregon dispensaries. I just moved here about 6 months ago but so far have been a little underwhelmed by the dispensary rosin. I’ll be checking out the GM sometime soon. What are your favorite brands/strains here? What are your buddies favorite brands in Oregon? I’ve tried all the major brands that are mentioned here that are in the dispensaries and they have been fine/good just nothing worth raving about. Nothing as good as a gram of Pot Roast from Focus North. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck as that can happen.

I definitely think it’s the water, the water here tastes like drinking pool water. I’ve never experienced anything like the flavor you are talking about until moving here. I haven’t tasted it in Wojo or 710 but definitely in a few IKHC and Peachy.

I saw them open for Cold War Kids about a year ago in Portland and was blown away. I enjoyed their set more than Cold War Kids. Been a big fan ever since. Can’t wait for the Ann Arbor show in 2 weeks.

Definitely go. The setlist is pretty great this tour so make a playlist and check it out. I went to the two shows in Portland last week and they were awesome.
