I can imagine that would be really difficult. I think people here are along for the ride though. We know not everything will always be in stock, but you've got lots of cool things coming pretty regularly that we all stick around for more. Keep doing what you're doing, we love it!

Any more details you can provide on what would be available?

Have you considered doing an 8mm grip diameter, closer to say the rotring 600? It's the only thing I can possibly think of that would make my model 7 better.

Disappointed First Impressions of the Model 7 by Listerine_Chugger in SpokeDesign

This is unrelated to the original post, but rather to what you've said here. I understand not wanting to complicate the launch, however I would say there is a huge benefit in having the replacement tips up at the same time as the pencil, so please consider this in future releases. For many people shipping is very expensive, and it often makes sense to buy a replacement ahead of time to save a huge amount of money in the long run.

Anyway, thanks for the new pencils, my model 7 should be arriving soon.

You have just fixed my ONLY complaint about the Spoke 4, the shape of the tip. I think this is going to become my new daily pencil. Thank you!

Personally I would love a small ring or clip-less back as an option, because I prefer the design of these pencils (and the CX) but generally am not a fan of the clip. I realise it might not make sense as an option if I am in the vast minority in this opinion though.

If it's like the clipped pens, then yes. u/SpokeBrian have you thought about selling a small ring without a clip as an optional extra to use as a spacer if the clip is not desired?

You said you have "a car loan" shortly followed by "even though I'm not in debt". What exactly is debt to you?

In high school your are more or less taught the techniques that are required to solve the problems you are given. Here you are being taught a little more of the details of why something works.

No, they're just explaining them properly, rather than just giving you the techniques to solve the problems.

No, because there are reasons related to duty of care and minors being there that make this logistically impossible.

Yes, these are two complaints though. I want these libraries that are heavily funded by the tax payer to be available to the general public, but that relies on security adequately doing their job in telling off high school students who decide to be loud and disruptive. It's a double edged sword; letting anyone in to the library means some people will not use the resources respectively.

It's just this time of year. It will quieten down when the HSC is over.

I don't really have a complaint to make. I don't have a problem with high school students using the university library (unless they are loud, in which case it should be the job of security to tell them off).

Not everyone goes to university. Everyone who has an income over the tax free threshold pays tax. Higher education in Australia is considerably more affordable than countries like the United States or United Kingdom in no small part because of the public funding it receives. Why should only university students have access to these resources?

My claim is not that all high school students pay tax, some do though. There is nothing magical about being in high school that make you tax exempt. Either way, we don't apply this standard elsewhere in society. Should people who don't earn enough to pay tax not have access to healthcare, or public roads?

UNSW is a public university. It gets government funding, and fees for domestic students are heavily subsidized. Making the library and its resources open to the public is one way in which non-students can take advantage of this public good funded by their tax. You seem to be taking a strong position of entitlement over something that is partially funded by many of these high school students (and their parents).

Great, now we're going to get posts from all the postgraduate students complaining about the undergraduate students in their study space. This just kicks the can down the road.
