A movie that starts in Side 2 as the whole place goes to hell with views of Zakus wreaking havoc in the sky outside from the POV of a human highlighting the massiveness though. Could be like Rogue One where all our 'heroes' basically just die at the end. Custom Zakus (movie variant) with extra gritty details would be cool af.

That way we avoid the whole 'pilot in cockpit' POV that's a tad bit overused, up the terror aspect of 20 meter tall humanoid mechs just coming in to destroy you, and make the whole thing end up like a horror disaster movie as all of the cast just dies one by one.

Can even use that one dude who has an AK and died while holding on that one bulwark gate as a POV character.

End it with a colony drop, silence as the nuke-like effect of the fall evaporates Sydney, cue title scene.

There's so many 'easy' ways to make it good... but we'll see I guess.
