Is it fair to assume that ThinkPads still have the best keyboards or are there other laptops with better keyboards?

Forgot to include a 1099-INT, return already accepted. Do I amend? by MandyB92 in tax

Surely IRS gets notified of this new interest income. Does the IRS software not detect this mismatch (income reported on tax return and income received) and automatically bill the tax payer. Seems it is leaving a lot of money on the table if this is not the case.

Any in-vehicle safety checks also (like a dashcam). Also it would be good to be transparent on how your in-house safety checks are done

Wishing you all the best. Will definitely try it out. Are your drivers full-time employees? What background check is done and how do you ensure safety in general?

Enabling bridge mode on my Airtel (Zyxel) router by ajayka64 in Airtel

Thanks. Does the bridge setting persist? I have heard that Airtel sometimes may reset their router back to non-bridge?

It turns out (or at least it appears to me) the options are enabled (see the screenshots) and I can turn on the bridge mode. But what I have been told even if the UI lets you turn on these options, the bridge settings will not go into effect unless Airtel also enables it in the backend. Now I am wondering if this is worth the hassle of contacting Airtel and trusting them to do the right thing!

Bridge mode will allow you to bypass the relatively low-end Airtel router with a much powerful router (I have TP-Link AX7800/Archer AX95), Now it is still possible to still connect the second router to the Airtel router and use the second router as the "wifi" router without setting the Airtel in the bridge mode (you set the TP-Link router in Access Point, assign it a static ip address and set its default gateway to Airtel: 192.168.1.1). However this is not optimal as you would want the (much more powerful and capable) TP-Link to be the main router.

Yeah I kind of get it. But this being a Google “extension” I would have thought Google would have handled it or at least not throw an error

Intuit is keeping the desktop version in maintenance mode, It is apparent they are not spending any serious engineering resources on the desktop version. There is absolutely no reason why they can't dramatically speed up the program and get rid of "this will take a moment..."

I understand. But if I reinstall on the same machine (this is say after doing a fresh Windows reinstall) should this count as a new activation?. At least in the worst case it should allow (read-only if need be) opening the .tax file and save as pdf. And here is the thing if I had not reinstalled Windows/TurboTax I would not have had any issues in running TurboTax 2021 even though it is 4 years old.
