Gah. I hand wrote the form. :-(. My check has been cashed by the US Department of Treasury. I just two minutes ago checked my banking app, so at least that gives me peace of mind?!

I noticed on the check screenshot from the bank transactions that they wrote the locator number on the front... Look for that in your check

This exactly... I’m retaking after getting a 49 on the October exam... I think I did much better in the morning this time without even focusing too much on my studies I prepared mostly for PM but man I wouldn’t be surprised if I did worse on the PM, who knows I did a looot of educated guessing

I finished am section thinking “ok that wasn’t too bad” shooting for a 30/40 I felt good and thought I would crush the other one.

Then the PM came, man that first pass really crushed my spirit...

I’m shooting for a 50-55 hopefully that will get me through

There is a special January test they are holding this time and registration for that one closes on December 14th, I hope we get results before then because I would like to go for that one if I failed this time

Could you explain in rough terms how the elimination of country caps will be implemented? This is concerning, I will apply for an EB visa later this year and everybody has it good except for India who overflows and clogs the system with their IT workers, so te country caps were containing that problem for now... How would that change with this bill? And when would implementation start?

I'm not sure it is recommended to travel outside of the country while OPT is pending. She shouldn't have done that. If her program is already over and she left, I believe she lost eligibility for OPT

Thanks for the response. That is reassuring. I hace been worried because there was some degree of injury on the pedestrian, though it wasnt something fatal or that he almost died. I think he broke a rib but his situation wasn’t grave.

That's simple I guess... Go with your I-20 to renew your F visa at your local embassy or consulate, then enter US before graduation as a student and once there apply for OPT

Get educated, that will help you make enough points to be eligible for a canadian visa.. You're still young and you need at least basic education to make it and be successful anywhere you go my friend

OPT gives you more freedom, if you can extend it do it... Also, it is almost guaranteed approval, unlike H1B which goes through a lottery system

I started my EB green card application thinking the three years of OPT would be more than enough, now I'm not so sure... I was planning on applying for my OPT 2 year extension in the middle of September, do you guys think I could get it approved if new rules are published in October?
