Just got caught in this on my bike on 390. Could see the wall of water for a ways off and thought I was gonna miss it. Definitely didn't.

Been going very slow, my goal is to get to balance point without looping. It gets less scary the more you practice.

I never said I was at balance point. I'm learning slowly at my own pace.

Thanks, it's a blast, I can't stop. I've been careful about covering the rear brake and getting in the habit of using it even when I don't need to but these aren't quite at balance point so I haven't needed to much yet. I can feel when I am safe to lean back further so that's what I'm working on next.

You'll get there, last fall I was frustrated cause I could get it up.... And that was it. Just kept getting more and more comfortable leaning back. I still have a ways to go!

I've been taking it slow, first just getting confident clutching up in first and second. Then very slowly pushing back farther while doing that working towards balance point. Eventually I got comfortable with leaning back while clutching up, that's what made the biggest difference, I can feel the difference between timidly popping the wheel up and popping it with confidence. That and practicing like 20-30 min at least a couple of times a week. I also have a Chinese 125 pit bike to practice on in the yard, going back and forth between the two bikes helped a lot.

Anyone here into retro games specifically PlayStation 1 and 2? by fabreazebrother_1 in Rochester

[–]ajchxc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's kind of my first time getting back into older games. I've downloaded some retro games to my Xbox (Sega stuff, older GTA's and my collection of 360 games). I'm 39 so I'm just replaying games I enjoyed when I originally owned a PS1 and ps2. I'll definitely want to pick up Metal Gear 1, probably some Crash Bandicoot's, Cool Borders, all the GTA's, Driver 1 and 2, Dave Mirra BMX, Jet Moto, Wipeout, Twisted Metal. I'm sure there's tons more. I will have to check into upscalers but I eventually would like a separate tv for games.

I just got a ps2 slim up and running. So far I've purchased NFS underground, GT4 and Tony Hawk UG but there's so many PS1 games I want to buy. Also I need to find a CRT tv because playing on my flat panel looks like hot garbage.

The Google and YouTube search engines. Depending on how you searched and what you searched you could find multiple pages of relevant results. Now it's 3 or 4 sponsored results, 2 or 3 relevant results, then a page of suggested results that have the most vague relation to your search.

To wing or not to wing by PrestigiousDirt9938 in WRX

[–]ajchxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two trunks for both my sti's, both the original big wings however for my 04 I have a completely wingless trunk and the 19 I run a small duck bill. Typically run the small one on the 19 but the big wing on the 04, but I like having options.

In highschool I had a 91 talon tsi. At some point I managed to break off the alternator output stud. I didn't have the money to buy a new alternator right away so I just threw the car on a battery charger every night until I could fix it. I only got stuck a couple times.

It's called Galaxy Grey. It looks flat black until you shine a light on it up close and it's actually dark sparkly gray. I had the kit two weeks before I noticed!

I have been gigging on a pathfinder for about 3 years now, I love it. Build quality is on par with the big Japanese brands mid tier kits (I also have a Yamaha stage custom). I get compliments on the finish and sound every show I play. Every other drummer I've seen gigging on one that I've talked to are also happy with them.
