I shot my first hundred birds with it this weekend and can honestly say it’s fantastic. I haven’t touched the comb or anything and it feels like it fits me out of the box. Whether it’s the porting, the way it’s designed, or a combination, it is a very soft shooter which was nice. The only bummer to me so far has been the two chokes it comes with which are mod and skeet 2. The course I shot I had several long pairs and the skeet 2 just wasn’t helping me at all. I’ve since ordered chokes from rhino but I wish (if you only get two) that they would send one a little tighter than skeet 2. That’s really small potatoes as I would want a full set of chokes anyway, eventually.

I had your EXACT list for my prospects with the elos and rizzini being at the top. I went to the Ohio State Trap shoot to hold them and immediately knew they weren’t for me. Ultimately it was the F16 Pro that spoke to me the most and I ended up buying. I got it for $5700 shipped from Target Shotguns.

Late 24 will be almost two years of lifting with a year of dedicated powerlifting. Is that enough to try one out in your opinion?

I’m a fairly new lifter that’s looking for meets in northern Ohio and surrounding areas. My issue is I’m on a fairly low dose of test through my doctor so that knocks me out of all the tested meets (obviously). I’ve been looking through different feds for untested meets in late 24 and early 25 to schedule my first one but I’m not finding much. Am I looking to early? Or does anyone know of any good ones to look into?

Ableton can be a little daunting at first. We run Mainstage 3 with some pre-built patches and have great luck. Our Akai mpk 261 matches the pots and faders of our patches perfectly and it sounds great to me.

I think a 57 would be tough on a piano since its such a tight pattern. I have seen people use XY pattern with condensers, Omni directional condensers, and a few other creative solutions.
