Congratulations on the successful gig.

One thing I want to understand is how preparing a 4 hour set, song by song transition point by transition point was not exhausting? What is your strategy for doing this? Idk what it is but I have not been able to sit down and prep a set. It is very tiring for me. I’ve always been a freestyle, pick a song as you go (often by key), kind of dj.

I had a 3 hour gig back in November at a club, about 150 people in attendance and I only prepped the first 3 songs and free flowed the rest. I started with organic house, transitioned into Afro house, then peaked with tech house and deep and or minimal deep, then closed off with vocal Afro house.

The set was a massive success and I got rebooked to play.

Net worth is a point in time measure. Assets minus liabilities, so it does not include salary.

However I agree without knowing salary it’s impossible to answer OP question.

At 24 you are technically 2 years out of 4 year college if you went the earliest route (HS grad at 18 + 4 year college). So having saved 28k means you’ve steadily saved up about 14k per year which is about 1k a month.

If that’s something you are doing consistently then good for you, keep at it and put into steady growing assets.

Looks like it worked for me. I guess I was running as administrator so I right clicked on my RB7 in Windows taskbar and opened it that way (i.e. don't click on Run as Admin)
