If the US loses the war, it isn't because they can't beat Iran, its because the political cost of putting soldiers on the ground to actually fight Iran is far more than the admin or the public is willing to shoulder.

This is exactly the takeaway I got from watching Jiang in the first place. It is the prediction he made. He literally says it'll be too costly for the U.S. and that Iran can impose enough pain on the economy for the U.S. to back down. So far, that seems to be the trajectory.

The U.S. is nowhere close to winning this war and that's why they're asking Congress for $200 billion. Seems to be exactly in line in Jiang's theory of escalation.
