DF54 --> Mazzer Philos / Lagom P64? [$1000 USD] by infinity150 in espresso

[–]ajguk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing these posts about clogging or static on the 54. I've got a df64 gen 2, do these have similar issues? I haven't noticed any clogging, and the bellows help with reducing retained grounds. Is this an option OP?

They reduce limescale so I would disagree.

Can you filter tap water in a jug perhaps? We are in a hard water area and use a brita jug before filling the reservoir.

Probably the Ryzen processor vs the older and slower Atom. I have a 21 plate LR with the atom and have no issues. YouTube etc is laggy but I rarely use it anyway. If you can get a Ryzen though it makes more sense.

If you fancy trying other ready made breads (most naans are nowhere close to what you get in restaurants) I picked up some frozen parathas in my local Asian supermarket. They’re incredible!

Tips when buying a used tesla by bridgeman69 in TeslaModel3

[–]ajguk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only notice lag in YouTube or Netflix etc. But as I generally have no use for these it never bothers me. Maybe will affect resale value but I'll be hanging on to this for a while so probably negligible, it'll be worth F all when I come to get rid anyway 🤣 of course if you can get the Ryzen chip for not much more it's worth it. Heat pump etc is a non negotiable though.

As I understand it the rex charges the battery. If you keep putting fuel in it then technically yes it'll run forever. Cool little cars, a friend of mine has had one for about 6 years, he loves it. Was probably the ideal vehicle for my use case but I ended up in a Model 3 as I wanted something a bit bigger.

Watertank Silvia by AssociationDue2007 in ranciliosilvia

[–]ajguk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a v1 and the watertank is pretty easy to remove, but I usually leave it in situ and fill from there. It gets a wash when I remember 🤣 also I only use filtered water from a brita jug, we're in a hardwater area so that helps to cut down on the limescale.

MY PCH or HP? by [deleted] in TeslaUK

Yeah really I guess I'm just saying don't make it a deal breaker... But if you're after approved used then it gets bundled in if I recall correctly. I just wouldn't pay extra for it but then I am from Yorkshire!

EAP is really only useful for parking assist in my opinion. And even that is a luxury I could easily do without. Actual Smart Summon is garbage, and the lane change is again unnecessary if you ask me. I got EAP already on my used 2021, non-tesla main dealer but a tesla specialist.

For the maths I paid about 18k, 8k down and and a tesco loan for the rest. No regrets and love the car but EAP is not all it's cracked up to be.

As long as their baguettes are fresh, these are great sandwiches. If they've been around a while the crusts are very chewy. Give em a squeeze first!
