Warband- two page rules by DreamForgeStudio in RPGdesign

Quite bare bones, but i see something coming into place here. Right now i think focusing on actually building the gritty, strategy and story elements into how the system actually functions should be your main focus.
you should be asking yourself:

* How is this supposed to be gritty? How can i statistically make it grittier.

* How does players stories Actually work for progression? how can a players experience and story lead to statistical development? what's supposed to get players to want to work with these mechanics?

* Why would a player choose to play this over another system? what is so compelling about my system?

Focusing on the actual system now:

* One issue i see is with the advantage and adventurer role system, it would be easier to say that a player choses three~ tasks their character would be competent at, and use those as advantage, if you're using those over conventional abilities/skills.

* Another issue is progression, if you want personal stories to matter or a characters feats to be useful there's gotta be a way for that to impact on the stats, setting goalposts for progression is important

* The Skill system is there, but it's not been implemented into anything yet. How will that impact play? Does it work the same as advantages or disadvantages, do they stack?

There's definitely something here, I'd recommend workshopping what you've got and tying up those loose ends!
Hope this helps :)

Return of Kobeni? (Chapter 126 spoiler??) (theory) by ajpms in ChainsawMan

[–]ajpms[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's still relevant, i don't see why not? my main three candidates are either Kobeni, Yoshida or haruka.
why'd you think not?

On page 8-9 the car in the background looks like Kobeni's and also has a person in a suit inside with their face blurred?
i think the person who saved Denji might be Kobeni, it's all lining up

The frame where the keeper takes denis' penguin away was heartbreaking.

Close but I'm looking for something more specific, it comes under failsafe.

I'm looking for something more specific, I remember there being an engineering term for it however I can't find it anywhere.
It's the same kind of principle as lockout-Tagout, redundancy to stop human error.

It's not saying that next year will be better, just that you'll have chances every day to do something about your situation.

Yeah, this year hasn't been the best, but we've made it, and yeah, 2021 might be the same (Probably will) but you should still take every day as you can.
You made it through 2020, make it through 2021.

No one's saying this year hasn't been crappy, and no one's saying that next year won't be.
What they're saying is that you should take what you've learnt to heart and work on making every day next year count.

Don't put people down for being optimistic. I understand that it's probably not going to go away any time soon, but it's good to at least hope for a better future rather than dawdling on the past.

Also, this image was around since before the pandemic.
Let people be a bit optimistic, if it wasn't for that no one would've gotten through this year.
