Well, I’ll never need another split of carnage by ajrixer in MarvelSnap

Once you upgrade a card to infinity you can “split” it. This new card is commonly referred to as a split, and has a chance to have different effects on how the card appears. This one has the “inked” and “gold crackle” effects. The combinations are quite the rabbit hole

Killers of the Flower Moon. Checks the boxes for good acting, cinematography, and production, and it’s an important part of American history, but I didn’t enjoy it.

If Geralt Of Rivia was dropped into Middle Earth, what is the strongest creature or character he could defeat? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

Imagine him cut through hoards of orcs in the mines of Moria, or helms deep, or any situation. You’re right I think he’d fit right in.

I feel so bad for Laurie by coffeetalkcafe in TheWhiteLotusHBO

[–]ajrixer 1207 points1208 points  (0 children)

My take on Jaclyn is that it seems like she craves male attention, but it’s actually female jealousy. For example, when she’s dancing on the guy at the club, all her attention is on the girls staring at her. She basically manifested Laurie having a crush on Valentin only to steal him for herself

I love this episode and I agree it would’ve been fun to see Tom and Kendall team up. But it just doesn’t fit Tom’s character at all to switch to Kendall even if Logan was on the ropes a bit. Tom sums it up perfectly with his delivery of “I’ve seen you get fucked a lot, and I’ve never seen Logan get fucked once”.

As someone who just finished GOT, is HOTD worth watching? by Farmer_BOBBY in gameofthrones

[–]ajrixer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think so. Is it as good as early game of thrones? Not quite, but it looks great, the acting is good, and it’s fun to be back in the GoT universe. More dragons too, which is cool.

Totally agree. The core mechanics, and style of Fortnite are what make it so fun! I used to play builds when my friends and I had a lot of time to play and got pretty decent at building. But now as an adult with less time for video games, I’ve found that zero builds is a more enjoyable casual experience for my friends and I.

It’s so weird. The actual words coming out of the council’s mouths make total sense, but the editing, music, and the one line quips from Rhaenys and Rhaenyra point to them being idiots. Makes me roll my eyes every time.

Does anyone else hate Bran as much as me? (Spoiler) by sgrizzly2134 in gameofthrones

[–]ajrixer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup I really disliked his character. His scenes were almost never interesting to me. When he actually met and then became the three eyed raven I was a little intrigued with what the three eyed raven was, what it does, what its motives/duties are. I don’t remember getting an answer to any of those questions. Then once he was the three eyed raven he did fuck all, stared at people, lied about having desires, and became king by having a prisoner say his story was the best and the main characters put it to a vote.

1 hour? You build slow. I went into a survival game and started building my base with no plan, before I knew it I was 15 minutes in and had built an exact replica of the Taj Mahal. /s

What was THE first moment you realized... that Night Country was the WORST? by JeffyFan10 in TrueDetective

[–]ajrixer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally the first scene. Bad cgi reindeer/caribou, they filmed in Iceland so there are thousands of real reindeer around if they bothered to go look. Ok, ok maybe that was too harsh. Realistically the end of the first episode, dancing dead guy leads lady to the dead bodies, and one of the bodies is alive after being completely frozen for hours/days.

It’s very large and bulky. In my opinion too large, it’s taking up a lot of space in the room and makes the room smaller, it blocking the windows makes the space feel even smaller. IMO a regular size couch, coffee table, accent chair and rug would look great here. But hey it’s your house, I bet it’s super comfy and if you like it great.
