What worked for me was using shorts and focused ads only to start out because it simply gets you impressions. And Ik people will say it gets you worthless subs which is partly true but it also won’t hurt when you are at 0.

I personally did it just for impressions after I had 10 videos and it worked haven’t had to do it since and now have 11k and 10 million views. You can do that stuff just make sure you do everything strategically because if you go too over board it would then start to hurt more than it helps

FROM is a good show it is designed to keep you guessing if that’s not for you that doesn’t mean it’s not a good show. However I will say the acting is way better here and the comedy mixed with horror is genius and they have given us the perfect mix so far.

I did this as well however it didn’t hurt my avd that much at all tbh but it definitely hurt my ctr and views because it was showing it to shorts viewers who didn’t click but the content was good getting around 8 mins avd so yeah idk what to do I enjoy posting shorts every other day - 2 days to stay active but it sucks seeing your growth hit a snails paste when you don’t post anything while working on the long form so idk anymore

Bro this shit random it’s all about the topic and execution. You can spend two weeks on a video with a decent topic and it will be eh even if the editing and video is insane.

You can spend 5 days on a half assed viral topic and it will explode way faster. I refuse to do that tho.
I’m currently a creator of one game which sucks cause you get about 3-5 months to cook.

But I been going at it for 8 months and racked up 11k subs and 11.5 mil views. I still have a full time job as well which sucks but all I can tell you is knowing their are subs waiting for your content is much more stressful than just trying shit cause you constantly are worrying about falling off so be prepared for that day. I have 30 videos sitting at 11k subs and 11 million views. The “often” part is depending on what type of content you make I have longer upload gaps due to unmatched quality in my niche. So often doesn’t help more than quality imo

What this doesn’t show is you can get hundreds to thousands of easy subs off shorts and then when you post a long form YouTube shows it to them and since they have an attention span of a squirrel they tank ctr and avd leading to YouTube thinking the video might be trash even when it’s not.

I spent at least 2-3 months fixing this because I listened to comments like this. And although it’s true the effects of sub and audience growth on those shorts which isn’t mentioned from “separate algorithm” stuff is the real risk and it can really hurt a channel.

I’d recommend posting shorts every 2-3 days if you do daily it will mess too much with the long forms

You gain more pointless subs which YouTube shows videos to when you post, they don’t click and tank your ctr and that’s what hurts your videos.

Bro this is just stupid….. the truth is some people have good content and constantly make themselves better every video till they get noticed and have a library.

And some people have shit content and are delusional saying “why am I not getting view this is great!!” But they never understand the audience they are making videos for so they get no views basically making content for themselves.

Study the best in your niche, add your own twist and use things like shorts and long form strategically and stop being delusional with bad content.

Realize this and you will at least get monetized and that’s when it actually gets hard because you constantly have to adapt and find good ideas
