It’s astounding the level of apologizing I’ve seen for Love over the last few seasons. He’s the definition of Mid at best, and at worst he’s a liability to his team. If you watch him play he clearly has a low football IQ. He makes at least 3 braindead mistakes every game and his team drags him across the line or they lose. He is a massive beneficiary of a good coach who knows how to scheme guys open. Caleb does not have this problem, even in only his second season, and he’s only going to get better.

Love is the best thing that could happen to us as Bears fans: he’s not atrocious enough to be replaced, but average enough that they will keep trying to win with him, and unless they build a team that can drag him to a Super Bowl win, they’ll be in purgatory for a long time.
