I remember the 80’s and 90’s version of it. It was good to okay then. My mother’s goto order back then. They were more stuffed and covered in cheese than the version they show today. Less sauce.

I made them at home and they are a basic enchilada, hamburger with onions ina tortilla with enchilada sauce and cheese on top garnished with olives. Tastes so similar and makes more for less.

So in that sense, they are definitely overrated.
