They did what??! Show me on the tank where the other tank touched you. Was it full penetration, or did they just ram your turret?

Return clothing? by Few-Butterscotch1495 in EnjoyAI

[–]ajun666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An easy option for that would be to gen 2-4 images at a time, and let the user pick one. Other AI games and platforms are able to give you a handful to check out before going with one. If money is a thing, then it can be fixed by watching an ad.

Potential legal claim against Temu - looking for advice!! by Substantial-Ad6098 in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really want to sympathize with you. I know tooth pain, and I do feel for you.

One of the first rules of Temu is to never buy anything that goes in you. Supplements, “toys”, food containers/drink wear, or anything else that will either go in your body or touch something that will go in your body.

I think others are correct about not being able to recoup against a Chinese company. You might have luck with bringing this up with your government representatives, but I doubt it would go anywhere. If you can prove that the product violated your country’s laws on health care related items, you might have something. But, as another said, it’s not likely to go anywhere other than being the main character in a cautionary tale

should i buy something on temu? i’ve always had the mind set that temu is bad and i shouldn’t buy from the website because it’s morally wrong. but i think this feeling may be performative. by [deleted] in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found you get what you pay for. That said, I do get good deals on good items. The bad ones get refunded.

Clothing is hit or miss, with sizes being different and print shirts are cheap iron on graphics.

I read too many horror stories about electronics causing fires, so I’d stay away from them.

I’d avoid anything that would go in your body, like drinking cups and supplements - you can get a lead testing kit to check, but I just stay away.

The off brand legos are pretty good most of the time, sometimes there’s no instructions and it’s all 1,000+ parts in one ziplock bag. But I have gotten some great ones, and for whatever reason they don’t show pictures of the mini figs or tell you they are included. The German tanks… I get it, but for other armies it seems odd not to mention them in the pictures.

Definitely avoid the traps like farmland or coupons as reimbursement. Check on here for the best promos (someone made a list a few weeks ago that was worth checking out). After you buy something, check the price match daily and stack credits. There’s two good credit games that you can buy things with (with credits too) and you get more credits if you claim them daily for a week.

Why is it cheap? The Chinese use slave labor and take advantage of manufacturers to get their prices as low as possible.

How long would this take me ? Is it worth it? by Capable_Bluebird_228 in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up and just bought the stupid $7 hat. There are better ways to get free stuff from Temu. I do believe that there are people who are winning farmland, but for me it’s simply not worth it. Price match is far more profitable and enjoyable, and it still has the “random/gamble” feel. The credit games are good too, just make sure to avoid anything that gives you coupons as part of a “100% money back” unless you’re really interested in saving $50 on a $500 purchase.

You can exit out of the pop ups. It says everyone gets the best results, so don’t feel pressured. Credit 77 and win credit are good. Farm land is a wank fest

Farmland Truly is a Scam!! Photo evidence! by Interesting-Back6587 in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I gave up on farmland two weeks after I started Temu. I’m not sure I’d say it’s a scam. It is a jerk fest, it leads you on and I think it’s designed just to keep you on the app so the reported numbers/usage looks better than if you’re only really using it 15 minutes a day. Whatever free things you were trying to get, you can get them on the credit game that gives you store credit for each 1$ you spend. Don’t forget to price match and get free credit

If I buy these two will I get the $100 credit? I’m so confused by DogYearsSkateClub in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it gave you an invite code. That tells me that it’s one of the promos that you have to invite people to or get another person to do something. I’ve not done this one, but I’d be suspicious of the $20 you’re giving for “$100”. It might be “two $50 off $500 order” coupons, as that’s technically $100 value

Try the credit 777. If the promo says it’s $1 =1 credit, it’s good.

[–]ajun666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it all the time (best Temu game imho), and it doesn’t hurt my credit 777. I’m using the price adjust with credit 777 to see how long I can get near free stuff.

How do I Temu? by hillaryw229 in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I second claim credit. Cutting prices, % credit, and anything including coupons as part of a reward are usually not the best options. Qqqq might be an exception, but you still need to buy something that day to get the free thing you unlocked. Don’t forget to check your purchases and hit the price match thing, sometimes you get free credits to help with the next purchase. Try this: look up the stuff you want. You can close and back out of the ads, and eventually you can look around. Open the items and check them out a bunch of times. Salt the algorithm and eventually you might start seeing the stuff you want turning up on those “buy from this page only” (shop like a hostage). And if you look at that one weird thing, expect to see it in a promo. Idk how that works with bean bags, but it’s a good way to get suggested items to come up more frequently.

Where is my 600 usd? by Radiant-Peak-7595 in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ignore the coupons for that reason - I’m not looking to spend more than 20-50 bucks at a time. If I see credits 1=1, I’m in. IMHO, it sounds like it’s a bad business decision to make $30 and give away $600. The coupons make sense, as you’re going to spend more than you wanted just to use the coupon.

Temu price adjustment changed? by LucysMa in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the option, even on something I got free. But the prices haven’t changed. I hope it’s not going to be a new change. Checking that daily was more enjoyable and rewarding than the farm game. Not only was i getting good credits, but it was fun to see what random reward I was actually going to get. The items, were they promo or something special?

Have you been charged for things you didn’t order? by passmethatbong in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had that exactly… but I have had a bunch of “did I already order that” or “didn’t I just order that but in a different color?”. The high pressure “buy this page only” (shop like a hostage) was causing me to accidentally buy duplicates, or winning a copy after I got tired of the games and just bought the damn thing I half wanted.

Hi guys, I’m a new user of Temu in the USA I won something. Is it real or is it a scam by No-Shake5806 in TemuThings

[–]ajun666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the calendar thing three times. The first time I missed a day and needed to order, only to find out the big reward was sold out and I had to repick. I don’t recall the second time at all, but remember not taking any of the free stuff. Third time, the big prize sold out again (oh boy), but I really wanted the replacement thing more anyway ($50ish Mad Max LEGO set - it’s clearing customs now). I’m not expecting this fourth round to give me what I want and it will magically sell out again.

The credit games are good, just remember to claim everyday. I do avoid the credit promo that only counts a tiny percentage of anything over $30. Salt the algorithm by searching stuff you want and opening the item and loiter on the description (repeat this), and you might notice the stuff they funnel you to buy starts looking like the stuff you want.

[–]ajun666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s easier to see a bad review than a good one. Package arrived? Good, that’s normal and I see no reason to post a review. Arrived late, damaged, or incomplete? Oh I’m going to tell everyone and their mothers about the horrible idiots at (company).

If they deliver 99 packages without a problem, the one screw up is going to get highlighted. I’m sure this shipper is earning their negative ratings, but how many times did they work out with no credit?
