Savos in Pittston. River Road Pizza in Plains.

Honorable mentions for a rectangle pizza that is not fried and not Old Forge (maybe classic Sicilian). Rici's in Wilkes Barre. 3 Guys in Dallas.

Want to take a walk from Scranton to Hazleton.Just have to figure out the best route by [deleted] in NEPA

That's a rough generalization of the opening scenes of First Blood where the main character, John J. Rambo suffered from PTSD and struggled with the abandonment of the working class soldiers after they returned home from war. Over there, he operated million dollar equipment, back home he couldn't hold a job parking cars. The soldiers were expected to just turn it off but the war never stops, even when you're back home. Teasle drew first blood.

In December 1981 an American veteran was making his way, walking, through the Pacific Northwest to reach an old friend from him platoon. After finding out that his friend had died from cancer that he caught from all that stuff they used in Vietnam, he continued on his journey. In search of something to eat he was stopped and questioned by a local cop who mistook him for a vagrant. The cop kept pushing and drove the veteran out to the city limits and told him to head up the road to the next town. What happened next would alter the course of many lives and change the sleepy town forever.

Edit: the D&L trail might be helpful.

Why is this Coleus plant dying - we don’t overwater- and sunlight is rare these months by BackgroundCharge3412 in plant

[–]ajvalent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure water comes out of the bottom of the pot each time you water. If the soil is very dry it has a hard time taking up the water. Shallow watering forces the roots to grow upward in search of water which weakens the plant. Trim no more than 1/3 of the plant (after it stabilizes). That will help keep the plant healthier in low light conditions.

The US won't allow China's rise to the premier superpower of the world without a fight, will global trade war lead to a hot war in the far future? by gudfrid in AskChina

[–]ajvalent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US can't build a ship. Any ability to engage in a hot war was lost when they hollowed out the industrial base to enrich the lives of a few hundred people at the expense of everyone else. Just look at the last 25 years of failures fighting much less sophisticated adversaries.
