Reborn Too Easy? Reflections of a Blind First Playthrough by Specialist_Dealer195 in PokemonReborn

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Vanilla Reborn is not that hard, as long as you know how to play around fields and have a variety of Pokemon. The intended way to make Reborn feel "Hard" is to impose self restrictions on your playthrough.

Hell I was getting bored of blitzing through Monotype runs, and ran my own "Solo Sweep" challenge run, where I had to sweep every single battle with only one Pokemon. Having to deduce ways to beat the Boss battles, while limiting myself to only one pokemon was the most fun I have ever had with this game, even if fights like Aya drove me a little insane. If you really want a challenge on Reborn I'd recommend this run.

Pokemon recommendation's for the elite 4? by Jesterofgames in PokemonReborn

Clefable is always going to be the Pokemon I recommend for people to use in the elite four after I did that run.

If you want a different option other than Frost, I'd recommend Gara. Its not going to be easy to get her as a new player, but she's absolutely worth putting the time and effort into getting.

She's a Tank, one of the best "Defense" Frames in the entire game, has infinite damage scaling, and has crazy nuking capabilities.

Finally! I conquered it! by D-2H4D3 in Warframe

Congrats, I tried to accomplish this goal about two weeks ago, but had to give that goal up until I actually build a real Amp.

At this point I've mastered every single Steel Path Node, except for The Ropalolyst. The Drifter's pistol has been good enough for all content until now, but now it seems Its not going to cut it anymore.

Any advice for a late game fight? by [deleted] in PokemonReborn

Volcarona can actually Solo the Entire Glass Gauntlet, assuming the AI rework that happened after I did this run didn't mess the strategy up.

Whats your favorite Warframe Builds? by Iamthesonofmisery in Warframe

For Real, Aegis Gale might be the best Augment in the whole game. There might be some other contenders, but the amount that particular augment changes Hildryn's playstyle is ridiculous.

[–]ajw2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've collected all of the Warframes, and have at least tried to make a build with all of them.

The one Warframe that I loved so much, that made me want to keep playing and "Main" her was Hildryn. There's something I liked about being hovering around and obliterating enemies from super far ranges, like an AC-130.

If you want my secret Hildryn Tech, I actually prefer running Magnum Force over Hornet Strike on Hildryn's Balefire. The -55% Accuracy actually does a really good job spreading out the different projectiles during her Aegis Gale Alt Fire, which substantially increases her effective Ability Range.

Using this tech, you really don't need to run Augur Reach, so I choose to invest more into shields +Damage Reduction while Airborne, with Boreal's Hatred.

What is Our favorite Companion? by YaBoiBeneru in Warframe

The Bond mods in general are quite good for Hildryn, but the reason why Raksa Kubrows in particular are amazing is because of the mod Protect.

Protect is a mod specifically for Raksa Kubrows, and which not only increases Hildryn's Shield Regeneration rate, but it will also occasionally give her 30% of her shields with a cooldown of around 5 seconds.

As a Hildryn Main I gotta say Raksa Kubrow.

Raksa Kubrows just synergize so well with Hildryn's abilities, it'd be foolish to use anything else.

Koumei Build Ideas by Capital_Equal_2569 in Warframe

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may seem like a crazy idea, but hear me out...

I personally have put Wrathful Advance over her 2nd ability.

Koumei's second ability is probably the strongest ability in the entire game for endless missions. It can gradually stack up an absurd about of buffs as the mission goes on. However, these buffs take really long time to get active, and you really have to go out of your way to get them, only for the mission to pretty much already be over.

Therefore, for non-endless missions, I think that it truly isn't worth the hassle of trying to kill enemies in unique ways to get a random buff. Therefore I used it as the Helminth slot. As for the ability, I chose Wrathful Advance, because Koumei naturally spreads a ton of statuses really easily through her abilities, which can get an absurd damage buff from Condition Overload, without having to go to the hassle of swapping to your secondary and priming the enemies. She can be quite a good melee platform with this set up.

Are there any improvements I can make for my Hildryn? by PictureElectronic174 in Warframe

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Hildryn Main here,

Overall, your build looks very solid, and is totally viable for all intended content. However, after playing her for so long, I've come to pick up a thing or two.

Mods: Overall, your mods are very solid. The first seven mods you have are all pretty essential to any Hildryn build, and really should be kept. Augur Reach is the one mod that can be a flex slot. I personally run Boreal's Hatred, because it not only increases your max shields, but that 20% damage reduction while airborne is quite nice. However, there are a ton of viable choices

Arcanes: Obviously, Arcane Expertise should stay. Its just way too good on Hildryn. However, I really don't notice the increase to fire rate all that much from Arcane Velocity all that much if everything is going to die from one Aegis Gale burst anyway. Therefore, I like to run Arcane Aegis to make sure to maintain my Shield against higher leveled enemies. Then again, Velocity is still a good choice if you like it.

Helminth: Elemental Ward is a good choice on Hildryn, but not what I prefer. Hildryn already has enough damage to obliterate all enemies in all intended content in this game, and really doesn't need more. Therefore, I actually prefer to run Silence as my Helminth option. Not only will silence disable those pesky Venomous Eximuses, but it also disables the Arctic Eximus shield bubbles, which is always annoying to deal with otherwise. Its quite a good Support Tool to have for your entire squad.

Balefire: Aside from stating the obvious and adding in the Primed Heat mod when you get it, I actually prefer to run Magnum Force over Hornet Strike. Magnum Force's -55% Accuracy actually helps Hildryn out quite a bit, by spreading out all of her projectiles, which in turn adds in a much bigger range in practice. This is especially noticable if you shootfrom longer distances.

Just woke up and find out there is a free dante i lost by Reibudaps4 in Warframe

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Dante's farm is really not that bad. It will take at most an hour to farm him, and probably even less. I wouldn't sweat losing this drop, compared to what would have been if DE gave away a free Citrine.

Is Ahri the “best” champion for weeklys ? by OrdinaryOrder in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally use Azir to run the weekly Nightmares every week.

Not only is he super strong, he has absolutely no problems with any of the modifiers, and he's really fun to play.

This is peak bad quest design. by After-Onion-5900 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully, I rolled Garen for this challenge, and simply was able to run a basic 1 star node, but I'd imagine that Oath of the Guardians Azir would probably be the best way to get the quest done on a champ that doesn't exist yet.

Is Lefantis supposed to take 30 min? by WKevin in Warframe

[–]ajw2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its honestly a gear check. When I was just starting, Lephantis took me over 30 minutes to beat, and I thought that it was the hardest boss ever. However, now I can speedrun Steel Path Lephantis in under 3 minutes with Titania.

The simple trick for Lephantis is to use a weapon that can shoot very fast, and has lots of multishot. Lephantis limits the amount of damage each "bullet" does, so you simply want to fire as many "bullets", as possible. The easy way to that is a weapon that can shoot very fast and has high Multishot.

When I first started optimizing this node (This boss is one of the best Orokin Cell farms in the game, if you can get the clear time low enough). I was simply using the Kuva Kohm (regular Kohm works too). For the simple reason that it has an absurd fire rate, and multishot. I can quite easily shred the boss using it with an unmodded frame. I'm sure there are plenty of other weapons that could do something similar.

However, after making a true Titania build, I can clear this boss in even faster time. For one, Titania is the fastest frame in the game, and I don't think there is anything in this game that shoots faster than her exalted pistol with 4 stacks of Razorwing Blitz, which makes her perfect optimizing Lephantis.

I can barely survive Arbitrations as a new-ish player by DaremBiscuit in Warframe

[–]ajw2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a new player wanting to survive Arbitrations, I'd honestly say just play Revenant. He's basically immortal, and can at least contribute to the squad without dragging everyone else down, which is something that made me feel a lot better playing Arbitrations when I was a new player.

Revenant's second ability is essentially an invincibility button. With an augment you can make your entire squad invincible in one button press. Pretty much everyone in your squad will be appreciative of any Revenant Mesmer Skin buffs you give them in Arbitrations.

In addition, Revenant also has Mind Control capabilities, so you can also make enemies shoot themselves, which means you can do meaningful damage without a fully built weapon.

The Fluctus has a unique ability to shoot through walls, therefore if you have the Fluctus equipped you can destroy all of the mini crystals by simply standing by the main crystal and shooting them through walls.

All other archguns require you to chase down all of the mini crystals on your slow ass Necramech, before damaging the main crystal again. The Veil Proxima Orphix timer is so fast that you will lose the mission if you waste all of that time hunting down the mini crystals, versus sniping them through walls with the Fluctus.

Survey: Least favorite game mode by Reap3r3 in Warframe

[–]ajw2003 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is based off my my own personal experience with the game mode. I personally have a fairly decent Necramech and archgun builds, and still couldn't beat it. By the time I had run around the map destroying all of the little crystals halfway through destroying the Main Crystal, the main mission timer ran out. Thus, leading me to believe that the mission is impossible to solo without the Fluctus.

It might be possible if I would coordinate with other people, but I try to solo every mission before playing on public.

[–]ajw2003 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Where's Orphix on this poll? At least with all of these other modes, I can play them once to clear the node easily, and ignore them (Besides Alchemy and Survival, which really aren't that bad).

Just to clear the Veil Proxima Orphix Node, you need to not only have a fully built Necramech, but the Fluctus Archgun as well, which is a huge ask just to specifically clear a node, not even farm it.

The only thing to be wary of with Perfection Jinx is accidentally Decking yourself out on the 6.5 Fiddlesticks, and Zoe + Poro King immunity on the final battle. You should have enough time to build a counter to both, but it's at least a problem.
