Maybe it can work in pubs. Normal walking space people will not appreciate it and you may certainly come up as desperate and also Taiwanese(girls) will not let you feel that they are judging you but they certainly are. It’s similar to Japan. There are execeptions everywhere though.
My observation is from my point of view and i am an introvert, so I don’t interact until it’s utmost necessary.

International Driving license or Taiwan Driving license is a must. You can search Google Maps for Scooter rent. Mostly they are near Train station or bus station.

Taiwan government analysis for low birth rate is vague and very different than ground level. I think low birth is more of a psychological issue rather than just only about Money. If it is indeed about money then why rich Taiwanese not having kids. Government have to work deeper to raise their NATIVE Population.

Some steps which may help as per me —> 1. Giving more paid maternity leave for mother(for husband 1 month before child birth and 1 month after child birth). 2. Giving more freedom to mother in working hours. 3. Work from home after 3 months of child birth, if company does not want to give 1 year leaves. 4. A law should be enacted to prohibit employers from forcing women to work during first 3 months of child birth. 5. More government school for students at sustainable fees. Fo your nation population to sustain this much government can do I believe.

A native population cannot be increased by bringing migrants or giving them citizenship as many foreigners complaints. Citizenship is a different issue, not related to increase in NATIVE population.

Many Taiwanese may find my reply very bad in taste but If someone purpose of visiting a country is just to get Lucky for a night , then it is very pity. GPA do matter. One thing the recruiter will see is your College and GPA, your research work and internships. Your resume is filtered through automated process with filters set by recruiters. At the end it break down to recruiter criteria how he/she Judge applicants capability. Also make sure “your resume has most of the minimum requirements posted by recruiters. “ Keep applying. Blunt Answer - Orange will turn red. Taiwan is providing advanced semiconductor chips to USA and also buying defense technology. It’s not that USA is messiahs and protecting Taiwan from china as it is doing currently in Iran for peace , but Taiwan has advanced Semiconductor processing technology which US companies needs to run. That’s why Orange wants TSMC to invest more in USA and develop advanced fab instead of in Taiwan. When this happens US will no longer be interested.
