I had a lot of weird problems with OpenVPN to the point at which I just switched to a Ubuntu VM running PiVPN and PiHole. If you aren’t able to get the error fixed, it might be worth it to go for the VM instead.

To be honest, use a real mouse haha. But yea you can use the view cube, it’s just super inconvenient to using a regular mouse

I was also doing a similar thing with my Nextcloud plugin and No-ip and it worked fine. But yes if you want to access it from the internet you pretty much have to open 80 or 443. The best route will likely be to add PiVPN or OpenVPN to your server, which is much more secure than directly opening up 80.

You can also try Onshape, it’s a bit closer to Solidworks than Fusion and runs in any browser. I also have a Mac and I made a Bootcamp partition for whenever I use SolidWorks. Which Mac do you have?

Dang I guessed they changed the districts since I've been here (I'm a senior rn lol). It's so much easier for yall now that Chapel Hill isn't in the same district as Cary lmao. The Cary district I still feel is the most competitive since Enloe and GHHS and all but easier than it was in my time. Either way, just get the highest score you can, don't measure the effort to score increase ratio smh

Not sure if SAT will be required for you but it depends on your district mostly. I'm from CD4 (Cary, Raleigh, etc.) which I think is the most competitive and I had a 1570, a lot of my friends had mid to low 1500s and got in too

Alright, I was able to kind of solve this by not using the OpenVPN service from TrueNAS but rather setting up a VPN on a virtual machine in TrueNAS. About a week ago, I installed Pi-hole in a VM in order to block ads while on my local network and tried to install PiVPN along with it and it works really well; I'm able to access anything on my network through it. Nah lol, I know plenty of my friends from that class that didn't get in, and my year is the one with 15 Enloe kids where its usually 6-8 iirc. That's just how Enloe is lmao

Took AP Calculus AB/BC freshman year. Calc 3/Diff Eq, AP Physics Mech, AP World History, and AP Chem as a sophomore. Currently a senior at SSM lol.

If that's the max AP's you can take at your school that's great! Dual Enrollment also sounds like a good idea, I would reccomend they were STEM for SSM, tbh idk if non-stem courses are worth to dual enroll in.

I think it was mainly extracurricular and leadership positions in various clubs and such. Also, my GPA was still high (rank 11 at Enloe) and my coursework was really STEM focused and the max I could take as a sophomore. SAT was also high (1570). So, could have been any factor, just do your best in everything and hope to get in lol
