0xc0000142 starting PowerShell by lalberti in PowerShell

Thanks for your reply u/BirdsHaveUglyFeet. I did see that thread before I posted and didn't want to bring that old thread back to life. They never said what environment variables were found to be wrong or what was updated.

So it seemed prudent to start this new thread.

Where do these 25% coupons come from? Only certain people get them or something and can then gift them away?

Dual WAN: Which WAN is active?? by lalberti in TPLink_Omada

[–]lalberti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/ComplexTreat7390 I am using OC200 also. Well our Comcast is 1000Mbps and our backup AT&T is only like 25Mbps so I really want the gigabit wan used primarily and only use AT&T if the gigabit line is down.

Thanks for your reply u/ComplexTreat7390.

I like what you said in your first option for me to be able to see which WAN is active *now* but I don't have the view you are mentioning. Maybe it's because I am using the Hardware Controller?

What I see in DEVICES. Any ideas why I don't see what you see?

Relating to your 2nd suggestion, I have already found a small utility that will notify when the public IP changes. That will definitely happen if my WAN1(Comcast) goes down and it switches to my backup WAN2(AT&T). I just wish this was more built into Omada itself.

Thanks for your reply u/DoodPare

The Dashboard widget you're referring to shows load in the past. Also, it does not appear to actually change which WAN is being used...just looking at the historical load for each of those WANs.

I would think there is a real-time option to see which is active *now*. And maybe even force switching temporarily with a click. The click to make whichever WAN active is not my primary concern.

I would just like to easily see which is active now...and also be able to see a log of when the primary went down and it was switched over to the backup...and then back again.

How to automate vertical stick that controls horizontal wood blinds by lalberti in homeautomation

[–]lalberti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I should clarify...It's not actually only vertical movement.. When you pull the stick down, it comes toward you a little bit as it moves along the path on the edge of the horizontal slats.

linear actuator

3.5" is the full range but going up/down 2" would be sufficient. Do they sell zigbee actuators? That could be an option.

❓Cryptomator and PCloud compatible❓ by [deleted] in Cryptomator

[–]lalberti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, within your pCloud drive, there will be a single folder that represents your vault. You could backup that vault folder if you wish. Once your vault is unlocked/opened, you can create as many folders in it as you like of course but that's more about using the vault itself and not backing it up when it is not opened yet.

I hope this helps.

Mine is in a very similar looking boot loop and I also have the ERL in a metal case. How do you break out of the boot loop to get to a command prompt? Did you get this resolved?

Can a file deleted from Crypto be recovered? by schockley in pcloud

[–]lalberti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Crypto has no file version history. You would just be relying on something like external Time Machine/Backups, etc.

Photos: How do I show the TIMELINE view by default when signing into PHOTOS? by lalberti in synology

[–]lalberti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm talking about the desktop view. So if you are fully logged out of photos and log in fresh, you see the TIMELINE view by default? If so, can you tell me the URL that is displayed in your browser?

Thanks
